Confessions of a Seadbeadaholic

Yes I confess I am a Seed Bead Aholic. I really can't keep away from them. They call me to say please, oh please work with me. And that's when I cave in. I just can't resist those little buggers.

I must say it hasn't always been that way. It all started in 2007 if I remember correctly. I was having a lot of problems with my knee and needed to have surgery for it. I had been going to the music academy to learn how to play the piano for 4 years, and was taking singing lessons at the same time. At the same time I was singer in a band, called The Lemon Sweets. You could say my weeks were pretty packed. And there was my job off course, and not to forget my husband and 2 children. Yes right almost forgot a cat and a dog as well.
So because of the knee surgery I couldn't start my next school year for my music lessons. And on top of that the singing group fell apart, because some of the members wanted to do different things. For a long time I was kinda lost. Not knowing what to do with my spare time. I joined a choir so that I could keep on singing. That's when I started having more and more problems with my back as well. At the same time I needed surgery on my sinus to treat my chronic sinusitus problem. The next month I needed surgery again. This time they had to remove my gall bladder due to stones. And the next month, I assure you I'm telling the (painful) truth, I needed to have arthroscopic hip surgery. If I wasn't the lucky one. On top of that, please don't ask me how I did it, I got a frozen shoulder. So I had been absent from work for almost a year.
Since I was still having a lot of problems with my back I started work part time. That's when I discovered the art of beading. I will tell you more of how I started beading in my next blog.
Hope you enjoyed reading .....until next time
