The Biggest Instagram Strategy Mistakes - Instagram Help Tips

Hi There, my dear readers. Are you desperately seeking Instagram help? Does the mere mention of "Instagram strategy" send shivers down your spine?

If yes, I welcome you, on a fun journey. We’ll wonder through the fascinating world of social media blunders. πŸ˜¬πŸ“±

Today, we embark on an amusing exploration of the do’s and don’ts of Instagram. Each post made spins a tale. Every filter conceals an endless number of missteps. πŸ‘πŸš«πŸŽ

As we navigate this landscape, it’s crucial to tread lightly. We would not want to fall prey to the temptations of becoming a digital sinner. πŸ˜‡πŸ˜ˆπŸ“±

Now, imagine this: like me, it probably took you a fair share of horrible selfies before you captured that perfect one. πŸ€³πŸ˜¬

You know the feeling? The lighting is on point, the angle just so, and your smile is brighter than a supernova. πŸ“ΈπŸ˜

You’re ready to share your masterpiece with the world, but hold your horses! Before you hit that ‘post’ button, let’s take a moment to  explore the land of Insta-fails. πŸŽ✋πŸ”

A path through the treacherous terrain of over-sharing enthusiasts, hashtag aficionados (I have to admit, I’m guilty of this one), and filter fiends. 😨😱

From the cozy confines of your screen, we’ll uncover the keys to Instagram strategy triumphs. Not without indulging in a laugh or two. πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

Beware, though, dear readers, as we navigate this comedic journey. Be mindful not to laugh too loud. You could risk choking on your laughter. πŸ˜‚πŸ”‡

I wouldn’t want to bear that burden on my conscience, nor would I want my readers to be tempted to hold this against me. πŸ€πŸ“š

Now then, grab your salted potato sticks (they are to die for), snuggle up with your phone, and prepare to giggle at the amusing mishaps awaiting us. πŸŸπŸ“±πŸ˜„

Instagram Strategy nr 1. - The Oversharer Extraordinaire:

Ah, yes, we all have that one friend who treats their Instagram like a personal diary, documenting every waking moment from their morning coffee to their evening cat yoga sessions.

Picture this: a grid flooded with mundane snapshots of daily life, where even the simplest activities are given the spotlight.

Remember, folks, Instagram isn't your therapist's couch. While sharing bits of your life can be endearing, spare us the play-by-play unless you're inviting us to brunch!

After all, nobody wants to scroll through a feed filled with TMI moments. It's important to recognize that oversharing can dilute the impact of truly meaningful moments, leaving your audience feeling overwhelmed and disconnected.

Instagram Strategy nr. 2 - The Hashtag Hulk:

Imagine a serene beach sunset, a picturesque moment worthy of admiration. But alas, it's overshadowed by a barrage of hashtags that could rival the Encyclopedia Britannica. #Blessed #SunsetLover #BeachLife #InstaGood #NoFilterNeeded.

Slow down there, chief! While hashtags are indeed a powerful tool for discovery, less is more when it comes to flooding your caption with them.

Instead, opt for a handful of relevant hashtags that enhance your post's visibility without making you look like a desperate spammer. Remember, excessive hashtagging can clutter your caption and detract from the message you're trying to convey.

Instagram Strategy nr. 3 - The Filter Fiend:

Filters, oh filters, the magical touch that can transform an ordinary selfie into a work of art. Beware, though, dear Instagrammers, for too much of a good thing can turn your photo into a Picasso nightmare.

We've all seen it—the sparkle overload, the puppy ears that seem a tad too realistic. Remember, your followers signed up to see your face, not an alien doppelgΓ€nger.

Embrace your natural beauty, and let the filters take a well-deserved vacation every now and then. It's essential to strike a balance between enhancing your photos and maintaining authenticity, as over-filtering can distort reality and erode trust with your audience.

Instagram Strategy nr. 4 - The Food Photographer Gone Rogue:

Ah, the culinary connoisseur who turns every meal into a photo shoot worthy of a Michelin star. Congratulations on crafting such a masterpiece!

Still, before you dive into that avocado toast like it's the last supper, consider this: nobody wants to see a close-up of your half-eaten meal. While food photography can be enticing, keep it tasteful (pun intended).

Snap a quick pic for posterity, then put down the phone and savor the flavor. It's important to remember that not every meal warrants a photo op, and bombarding your followers with endless food shots can lead to viewer fatigue and disinterest.

Instagram Strategy nr. 5 - The Follow-Unfollow Bandit:

Ah, the oldest trick in the book—the follow-unfollow game played by social media ninjas in the night. You follow someone, wait for them to follow back, then promptly unfollow them as if nothing ever happened. But newsflash: we're onto you! Building genuine connections beats playing mind games any day. So be a friend, not a frenemy, and cultivate a community based on authenticity rather than numbers. Engaging in deceptive tactics like follow-unfollow undermines trust and damages your reputation as a credible and reliable presence on Instagram.

Instagram Strategy nr. 6 - The Caption Catastrophe:

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but that doesn't mean you should write a novel in your caption. Keep it short, sweet, and to the point.

Avoid cryptic messages that require a decoder ring to decipher. After all, ain't nobody got time for that! Your caption should complement your photo, not overshadow it.

Let your picture speak for itself, and sprinkle your caption with just enough charm to leave your followers smiling. Lengthy and convoluted captions can overwhelm your audience and detract from the visual impact of your post, so it's important to strike a balance between engaging storytelling and concise communication.

In conclusion

Dear readers, remember that Instagram is a platform for sharing moments, not a competition for who can curate the most perfect life.

Embrace your quirks, laugh at your mishaps, and above all, keep it real. Happy gramming, and may your feed be forever free of Insta-fails!

Introducing you to - PAKcommunicatie

Hi There.....Are you on Instagram?

I am and I actually am starting to like it more every day πŸ˜ƒ

I do remember how hard I found it to be in the beginning. I just didn't know where and how to start. I do feel like I am slowly getting the hang of it now. But recently I came across this website https://pakcommunicatie.nl/. They offer online training on Instagram and Facebook.

I can hear you thinking though.....Isn't Instagram something for young people? But I can't agree with you on this, especially not when you have a small shop or brand to represent. They say that it is the fastest growing Social channel these days πŸ˜„

Can you imagine this was my first Instagram post

I didn't use any tags.....haha.....but I did get one comment from a friend πŸ˜‰

So I decided last week to take PAK's advanced Instagram course. The training program consists of seven different modules.

1. Social Selling
This module is about establishing (new) online relationships through Instagram: social selling. What is the point of social selling? and what to look out for with social selling on Instagram.

2. Determining strategy
What do you intend to use Instagram for and how to accomplish that? Your Instagram strategy is a part of your social media marketing plan and depends on your business goals. But how to determine your strategy?

3. Social Media Calendar
Having a business takes time and you are already busy with a lot. Logical that you can't always reflect on every passing moment when you should interact on the Social Calendar. You get a handy calendar to keep track and find content for these days.

4. Working with Influencers
The power of influencer-marketing is that the influencer has a one on one relationship with the target audience of your brand. Working with influencers is something that attracts a lot of businesses, but not every influencer will be fit for your brand.

5. Making Ads
Instagram offers a lot of different ways to advertise. Through advertising, you expand your reach and the name of your business or brand. With your story, you could reach more customers and make sure your target group gets involved with your brand. How to make good ads on your Instagram?

6. Instabots and fake followers
What are instabots and why are they used? What about your fake followers and fake likes on Instagram? How to recognize those?

7. Trends and figures Instagram 2019
If you have a business profile then you can view your statistics on Instagram. You get information about the demographic data from your followers, what pictures score the best, what is the best timing for your posts and how large your range was in the past week. This information is very handy and we will learn everything about that in this module.

I have to say I learned a lot of things I didn't really know before. And they explain it with a lot of examples. You know I have always had a business profile but it was just now that I learned that you could view your statistics. The course was very detailed.....so if you ask me.....it was money well spent πŸ˜ƒ

One down point maybe for you is that the course is in Dutch. But maybe some point in time they will start translating it to English.

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great weekend
