Fortuneteller Bangle

Hi There.....Do you like new things?

A few weeks ago someone asked me if I could make a kind of bracelet, like the picture she sent me. It looked real complicated so I told her I wasn't sure I would be able to do that 😧

Then she sent me all kinds of things she found on internet. So I started to google some things and came across the book of Kate McKinnon - Contemporary Geometric Beadwork.

I was so intrigued that I ordered both books on contemporary geometric beadwork. Me and my customer both agreed I would make the Fortuneteller Bangle in the colors purple and pink 😅

I must say that I had to read the pattern more than once to be sure to get it right. That may also be because my native tongue is Dutch and the book was in English. But I managed to make it and was real happy with myself.

Hi There.....Are you in a good mood today?

I am kinda angry.....they took away my Polyvore site, where I used to create my collages of Etsy finds and Fashion outfits, and changed it into a shopping site 😒

Happy Easter

Hi There.....Are you a fan of Easter?

Maybe you are still decorating those Easter eggs? I must say, I just bought my eggs in the store this year. My granddaughter just turned 2 earlier this month and she is gonna come over to hunt some Easter Eggs. I am so looking forward to that.

Where is Spring

Hi There.....Are you wondering, like me, when spring will be coming?

It is actually snowing right now here in Belgium. Spring seems miles away at the moment 😞 But I made a set for you today to try and get a bit in the spring mood while waiting for spring to finally arrive. And with a bit of luck I can make you forget the snow outside 😉

We have a winner for the Valentine blog

Hi There.......Are the temperatures below zero over where you are too?

It is freezing here at the moment......but I am actually glad that we don't have snow......I saw the images yesterday on the news from Great Britain where they were having to deal with lots of snow and cars being stuck on the road. People even having to sleep in their cars because of it.
