Xander incorporates semi-precious stones into his jewelry and home accessories, finishing each piece with 925 sterling silver or 14k gold-plated components and findings. All of his jewelry is nickel-free (a must, as he’s allergic!).
His brand, Xander Kostroma®, launched in Fall 2018 and is now stocked in over 550 independent boutiques worldwide. You can also find his collection online through British retailers Freemans.com and NotOnTheHighStreet.com.

Xander is based in Lisbon, Portugal, but his brand is truly a global collaboration. He works online with Lydia, who is based in Handan City, China, alongside her two assistants, Lily and Pinna. Together, they hand-make all the pieces for the brand, led by Lydia’s expertise. Once production is complete, the goods are shipped to a warehouse in Swansea, Wales, where Gail takes charge of dispatching all orders.
Amy, the face of the brand, captures stunning shots from her home and garden in Northamptonshire, England, while Ria photographs lifestyle images from her studio in Norfolk, England. Meanwhile, the website’s SEO is expertly managed by Moh and his assistant Abdul, who are based in Sialkot, Pakistan.

From the work studio to the final campaign, every piece of our jewelry is fully traceable back to its source. When we say each piece is handmade, we truly mean it! Lydia, our Head of Production (learn more about her in the "About" section), is a highly skilled jewelry maker. She oversees the entire process alongside her small team of experts, who meticulously inspect every piece for purity, quality, and flawless form.
High Quality
We exclusively use genuine, high-quality crystals sourced from trusted and reputable suppliers.
Our 925 sterling silver is purity-tested, and we use 14ct gold-plated chains and findings to ensure the highest quality. Testing certificates are available upon request.
Our pashminas are crafted in small batches of just 100 pieces per color, made from a luxuriously soft viscose blend fabric.

Fashion Revolution
We partnered with a small, family-run factory based in Wenzhou City, drawn to their shared values and ethics, both personally and morally.
As a company, we aim to support independently run small businesses (just like ours!), ensuring that every employee is treated with respect and seen as more than just a number.
Since the successful launch of our very first skull tote bag in the fall of 2019, we've been continuously building and strengthening our relationship with this factory.
Xander Kostroma and Ecologi
In late 2023, Xander Kostroma partnered with Ecologi, a leading platform supporting vital global projects, with the goal of becoming a carbon-neutral brand.
At the company level, we now plant one tree for every order placed. Additionally, we fund two extra projects each month to support carbon sequestration, carbon reduction, or the enhancement of global biodiversity.
In 2024, Xander Kostroma pledged to backdate and offset the CO2 emissions generated by all orders shipped since the brand's launch in 2015.
