Introducing you to Rabenkraeuter

Hi There.....Are you a fan of plants and herbs?

I would think most of us are ๐Ÿ˜Š I myself love to experiment in my cooking with herbs.

Well, I have a very special story for you this time about the shop Rabenkraeuter

A few years ago the shop-owner and her family were on their way to visit a small yard. The last part of the street a raven escorted them. He landed on a large upstanding stone on the farmyard. So they bought the micro yard and are still cultivating it today. The Raven, so they learned, was saved as a chick by one of the former farmers.

It often accompanies the shop-owner on her herbal walks. This black bird was the inspiration for 'Hof Rabenstein' and its herbs.

The shop-owner now gives guided tours, where she leads people around and teaches them about wild plants and their uses.

One of the most popular workshops is Blumenfeuer/Flowerfire. It's a workshop where they make colorful sugars and salts, and the participants get to take those home as a small souvenir. Then they cook a 'wilde wald und wiesen menu'.....a wild forest and meadow menu.....and end the day around the campfire.

That sounds great to me ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Another popular workshop is Herbarium production. Most participants in this are fellow herb teachers or Biology/Pharmacy students. They get to take home their own made flower press filled with a future specimen.

So those are some of the things you can find in her Etsy shop. Along with postcards made from beautiful pictures a fellow herb teacher makes.

I think it is time now to show you a few things out of the shop.
