Introducing you to - LydiaKardosStudio

Hi There.....Are you a fan of Ceramics?

I sure hope so, cause today I am introducing you to LydiaKardosStudio.

So let me tell you something about Lydia Kardos first ๐Ÿ˜Š

She is a New York-based photographer and artist. An alumnus of the Boston Arts Academy. She completed 4 years of training as a visual art major and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography at the School of Visual Arts.

That is quite impressive.....don't you think so ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

She works professionally in photography and styling in New York City. Her print work has been featured in many print ads and magazines. She finds inspiration in the ocean, the tarot, abstract art and the theme of magical realism. Her ceramics tell stories with texture, color, abstract shapes, and biomorphic forms. She continues working in both photographies as ceramics as well as painting.
Her most recent exhibitions were in Boston, MA and New York, NY.

Being featured in ads and magazines, Isn't that something we all secretly dream of. Well, I sure hope I made you curious enough now to want to see what's in her shop ๐Ÿ˜š

Introducing you to - NightshadesTreasures

Hi There.....Do you like hunting Treasures?

Who doesn't ๐Ÿ˜ƒ So let me introduce you this time to NightshadesTreasures.

The shop owner, Lola, has always had a passion for art ever since she could pick up a pencil. She is a self-taught artist who strives to keep learning and improving her techniques. Being a fan of all kinds of art, she has learned many forms. She is a musician, belly dancer, painter, and jewelry maker.

That is quite a lot, don't you agree ๐Ÿ˜‰

She calls herself a spooky girl, who loves to create in a creepy cute way in many things, but at times restrains herself to creating normal with a twist.

She started creating jewelry at the age of 11 already and started selling her treasures since 2013 at art shows and craft fairs. She gave them away as Christmas gifts to coworkers at times and they were always excited to see what she came up with ๐Ÿ˜‡

When she became a mom in 2015 she decided to become a stay at home mom. That way she could combine the bringing up of her son and pursue her dream of being a full-time seller. She also wants to show her son that dreams do come true, and you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

Seeing it is almost time for Christmas...well I did say almost... I thought this is the perfect time to introduce you to her lovely shop ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Introducing you to - LuluFaysCountrySuds

Hi There.....What soap do you use?

Silly question you might think ๐Ÿ˜ƒ If you think there is nothing special about a bar of soap.....you really need to be introduced to LuluFaysCountrySuds.

Melinda, the shop owner, makes soap from goats milk. But not just any goats.....she has been raising her own goats for over 20 years now. Her products are made from their milk, and she resources as much of her ingredients on her farm as she can.

Quite impressive.....don't you think so ๐Ÿ˜Š

She uses natural ingredients in her products and stays away from Sulfates, Phthalates, Parabens, SLS. She does a lot of research to ensure her soaps and other products are safe for your family and hers. Obviously, her products are not tested on animals.....but on herself ๐Ÿ˜‰

She works with small batches to make sure everything comes out perfect. She loves making natural Bath and Body! She firmly believes you don't need chemical-based products to clean yourself or your kids. 'Read the labels' she says. Natural is a safe and amazing way to enjoy your skin again.

Her Goat milk soap contains vitamins C, B1, B6, B12, E and A, which repairs damaged skin. It also contains alpha hydroxy acids, like lactic acid, which helps remove dead skin cells. She could write a book on the many benefits of using goats milk skin care products ๐Ÿ˜‡

She combines the goat's milk with olive oil, coconut oil, responsibly sourced palm oil, castor oil, and shea butter, so you end up with an awesome bar of bubbly goodness!

In her shop you can find soap, fizzies, lip balm, sugar scrubs and more.....so time to show you some of those lovely products ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Introducing you to - sanlorenzoForDesign

Hi There.....Do you like to decorate your home?

Yes.....Then I have something for you on this time. Let me introduce you to sanlorenzoForDesign

The shopowner started with making personalized envelopes and cards about 10 years ago. She brought her little album with her, and showed it to moms at birthday parties and reunions. She would always use her own designs on birthday wishes, calenders, schedules, in short everything.

I suppose that's a bit like most shop owners, and me too, we all get carried away in what we do ๐Ÿ˜€

She is an industrial designer, specialised in interior design, and in the beginning only made designs for personal use. It was only at the beginning of this year that she thought about putting quotes on her Instagram account, and started making mock-ups to post them on Instagram. Then in may she decided to open up an Etsy shop and started selling her designs.

Introducing to you - LSSilhouettesArt

Hi There.....Do you have kids?

My kids are all grown up and I even have a sweet grandaughter of 2 and a half ๐Ÿ˜

But let me introduce you to a shop that makes art for kids - LSSilhouettesArt

Leanne, the owner, grew up drawing everything in sight: cartoons, animals, people, nature, you name it. For her it was all about being exact and drawing completely realistic. She would spend endless hours perfecting her drawings. Painting became a way for her to keep art playful and fun and a way to experiment with new techniques.

Like most Etsy shopowners she started out small with painting little canvases for friends as a birth gift. This way she developed her ideas and created her own style. She liked the idea of simplyfying her figures into silhouettes, but in a way that she would stay true to the original.

Each silhouette she creates is made into a stencil, which allows her to reuse them in different colours. She is constantly sketching new ideas and experimenting with colours. She also has 2 kids, of 1 and 5 years old, and uses them as inspiration for all her themes.

She loves to make custom orders too and would be more than happy to collaborate with buyers, using custom images and colour combinations, to create something that is perfectly individual.
