Pre-Summer Sale at BeadworkSeadbeady

Hi There.....Are you enjoying the sun out there?

I am but it's still a bit cold here in Belgium. But that didn't hold me back to buy me a new dress yesterday 😀

And that was not the only thing, I also bought a summer blouse and a pair of pants.

But as I was thinking of summer coming soon, I was also thinking that it has been a long time ago since I had a sale in my shop. So I decided to make a pre-summer sale with a discount of 15% for a minimum purchase of 30 Euro.

Also, am trying out new pictures as my main picture on Etsy to stand out more from the crowd and give a hint on how my jewelry is made.

What do you think does this picture make it clear that my jewelry is made with thread 😨

So what do you think do you like the one above better or this one below.....the one I used before 😮

Please let me know what you think.....I would so love to have some feedback or suggestions from you on how to do better 😃

Did you know it is better to spread putting on new listings over a few days if you can and not put them all on the same day?

It is also important to give shop updates on a regular base like at least once every 2 or 3 days so I've heard. You can use photos from your workspace or a picture of some work in progress or maybe some tips on how to use your items 😊

Another thing that people doubt if it makes a difference is the description of your item. Not everyone may read all the things you put into this.....but it may be important for the few people that are genuinely interested.

So this may be a great time to show you what's new in my shop and what is still to come. Below are 2 items I still need to list in my shop.

And here are some new things that I have already listed in my Etsy BeadworkSeadbeady shop

Romantic Necklace, Extravagant Jewelry for Her

Beadwork Necklace, Autumn Necklace for Women

Best Selling Jewelry, Lightning Necklace Gift for Her

Beadwork Necklace, Autumn Necklace

So let me know what you think of my beadwork jewelry pieces.....and if you do take a look at my shop, let me know what you think I should make more of in the future. I am always curious to know what other people think 😉

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great weekend

Seadbeady's Finds on Etsy - 6

Hi There.....How is the weather over there?

It's not that great over here cause there is no sun shining at the moment only clouds and we are having a lot of wind too. But no worries the weather doesn't have to be great to be able to talk about fashion lol 😉

And you know what the great thing is here in Belgium? We have shoes for every type of weather. So what would you say if I would give you some history on shoes first 😊

According to Wikipedia, the earliest known shoes are sagebrush bark sandals dating from 7000 or 8000BC. They were found in the Fort Rock Cave in the US state of Oregon in 1938.

The worlds oldest leather shoe was made from a single piece of cowhide and laced with a leather cord along seams at the front and back. And it was found in Armenia in 2008 and believed to date to 3500BC.

Must be exciting if you can find something that is so old.....I sometimes wonder how it would be like to be an archeologist 😁

So let me ask you.....do you have a lot of shoes.....and do you actually wear them. I know a lot of people that just can't help themselves and keep buying more and more.

No, no not me I only have a few. So if you think you have too many you are gonna have to restrain yourself when I show you what I selected for you this time on Etsy 😏

Rose glitter flats, Rose gold flats, Red rose shoes

Goldendoodle Sneakers, personalized dog canvas shoes

Hungarian Kalocsa Embroidery Flip Flop

Harry Potter shoes / heels * * * uk sizes 3-8 * *

Bohemian Greek Sandals, Ankle Strap Sandals

Clogs white

Star brooch shoes. Sneakers

Wedding white sandals, Greek leather sandals

Brown en GREEN TREE of LIFE barefoot sandal

ANA PLATFORM Peep Toe IVORY, Ecru, Lace Platform Wedge Lace Up

And were you able to restrain yourself?? Or did I inspire you to go and find your own pair of shoes 😃

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great weekend

Hi There.....Are you a fan of handmade items?

Yes.....Great cause I have a lot of friends and acquaintances who make their hobby or even a living out of handmade. Well, at least they try, cause it is absolutely not easy to compete with the big shops out there 😅

I have introduced a lot of shops from Etsy to you already but never have told you much about Etsy itself.

It is a worldwide platform where you can find unique and creative products as well as vintage treasures. The platform brings us shops in contact with a million buyers that are looking for something unique or different with maybe a personal touch to it.

But let me tell you a bit about the shop I chose for today RoseVershelvt.

The shop owner has been making clothes for many years for friends and family including custom orders. She became to love it so much that she decided to open her Etsy shop in November 2016.

In her shop, you can find nightwear, lingerie, and clothing that is comfortable to wear in the daytime or to sleep in. She designs and makes her own patterns and also loves to crochet. She puts a lot of love and care in everything she creates.

So let me show you some of the things you can find in her shop 😃

White lace top, French lace top

Mint Green Top nightwear

Black Playsuit, Playsuit, Sexy Playsuit

Introducing you to - PAKcommunicatie

Hi There.....Are you on Instagram?

I am and I actually am starting to like it more every day 😃

I do remember how hard I found it to be in the beginning. I just didn't know where and how to start. I do feel like I am slowly getting the hang of it now. But recently I came across this website https://pakcommunicatie.nl/. They offer online training on Instagram and Facebook.

I can hear you thinking though.....Isn't Instagram something for young people? But I can't agree with you on this, especially not when you have a small shop or brand to represent. They say that it is the fastest growing Social channel these days 😄

Can you imagine this was my first Instagram post

I didn't use any tags.....haha.....but I did get one comment from a friend 😉

So I decided last week to take PAK's advanced Instagram course. The training program consists of seven different modules.

1. Social Selling
This module is about establishing (new) online relationships through Instagram: social selling. What is the point of social selling? and what to look out for with social selling on Instagram.

2. Determining strategy
What do you intend to use Instagram for and how to accomplish that? Your Instagram strategy is a part of your social media marketing plan and depends on your business goals. But how to determine your strategy?

3. Social Media Calendar
Having a business takes time and you are already busy with a lot. Logical that you can't always reflect on every passing moment when you should interact on the Social Calendar. You get a handy calendar to keep track and find content for these days.

4. Working with Influencers
The power of influencer-marketing is that the influencer has a one on one relationship with the target audience of your brand. Working with influencers is something that attracts a lot of businesses, but not every influencer will be fit for your brand.

5. Making Ads
Instagram offers a lot of different ways to advertise. Through advertising, you expand your reach and the name of your business or brand. With your story, you could reach more customers and make sure your target group gets involved with your brand. How to make good ads on your Instagram?

6. Instabots and fake followers
What are instabots and why are they used? What about your fake followers and fake likes on Instagram? How to recognize those?

7. Trends and figures Instagram 2019
If you have a business profile then you can view your statistics on Instagram. You get information about the demographic data from your followers, what pictures score the best, what is the best timing for your posts and how large your range was in the past week. This information is very handy and we will learn everything about that in this module.

I have to say I learned a lot of things I didn't really know before. And they explain it with a lot of examples. You know I have always had a business profile but it was just now that I learned that you could view your statistics. The course was very detailed.....so if you ask me.....it was money well spent 😃

One down point maybe for you is that the course is in Dutch. But maybe some point in time they will start translating it to English.

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great weekend

Introducing you to - Dotpaint Academy

Hi There.....Have you ever heard about Dot painting?

I had never heard of it. So let me tell you a bit more about it 😊

Actually, it was a traditional drawing and painting technique from the Australian Aboriginals. It's a form of art that brings peace and tranquility. It raises awareness and brings you back to your true self.

Dot painting makes you forget everything around you. Out of your mind and into your heart.

Sounds great.....Don't you agree 😊

That is why Natashja created the Dotpoint Academy

She sees the pleasure it brings to people to find their inner peace in this hectic world. The need for inner peace and self-fulfillment is large in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Unity consciousness seems to grow and people like to join each other to create in freedom. It's a form of Art Therapy, and people find it to be very relaxing. It taps into their creative ability that is present in every one of us.

The new trend is to fight burnout by dot painting. With the hypnotizing paint-drop patterns made on stones, canvas, and wood. Drawing for adults was a trend already and now dot painting has been added to that trend. It seems as if the increase of stress and burnout has also had its effect on creative workshops. Creativity to find peace and quiet in your head and focus on yourself.

Natashja started dot painting herself to take the mind of her own illness. She conquered breast cancer and needed something to make her relax during this process of recovery. This dotting had such a big impact on her health that she started her website https://www.natashja.nl/. This became such a success that she decided to lead others so that they would be able to lead their own workshops. And that is how her www.dotpaint-academy.nl came to be.

But let me show you some of those pieces of Art that Natashja created 😃

They look really cool..... don't you agree? If you are thinking.....I want to be able to do that too.....you can find a lot of workshops on her website too 😃

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great weekend

Blogger Influencer Brand Collaborations Europe

Hi There.....Are you a brand or blogger, influencer from Europe?

Yes.....then there is something I would like to share with you 😃

I just made a new Facebook group Brand Bloggers Influencers Connect Europe

I felt that we Europeans needed a separate group and instead of waiting for someone to come up with the idea, I thought let's just make one.

The intention of the group is to connect small Brands and maybe later on larger Brands with Bloggers or Influencers.

Brands will be able to make a post in the group in which they reach out to Bloggers or Influencers to promote their product.

Newbie Bloggers or Influencers that are looking to give free blog posts in order to grow their audience are welcome to post in the group as well.

Good idea?.....Or not?..... What do you think?  😯

Since I just started this group yesterday I would love for you all to join. The bigger the group gets the more opportunities it will bring.

I am also open to all kinds of suggestions on improving this group 😄

So let's get this show on the road and start joining.

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great day

Seadbeady's Finds on Etsy - 5

Hi There.....Are you also having a sunny day?

Don't you just love these kinds of days? Would you like to get a bit of inspiration to freshen up your wardrobe?

I am in for that 😄

How about a little bit of history I found on Wikipedia on that first?

We all know that clothing is something only humans do and it has been a feature in most human societies for a very long time. But it is actually not known just when people started to wear clothes.

Things like textiles appeared for the first time in the Middle East during the late stone age.

You might think now.....Oops, stone ago how long ago was that?

That is what I thought.....History was never my forte 😏

Seems like it started about 2.5 million years ago and ended in 2500 BC.

From these times on to the present day the methods of textile production have continually evolved, and depending on their surroundings the choices of textiles that were available influenced how people clothed themselves.

But let's get back to your wardrobe needs 😃

Here are some things I found on Etsy for you, and all for 50 € or less
