Interview with Jewelry Designer Lizzy Klein

Hi There..... Are you a fan of original high-quality jewelry designs?

I bet you are. Maybe you’re more a fan of sustainable jewelry? What if you could combine this high-quality jewelry with sustainable jewelry? All I can say is keep reading if you are interested to know more. 😁

It's so great that nowadays you can find recycling in so many branches of fashion. When I think about it, it's something I also did when I was in my early twenties. πŸ˜€

My mom still had kept dresses from decades ago, and she agreed I could alter one of them and use it. She also had some wigs from lots of years ago, but they were only good for a laugh. πŸ˜„

It's such a pity I don't have pictures of me and my sisters wearing those wigs. I would love to show them to you, or then again, maybe not. 😜

One of the most beautiful things in the world I've ever seen or heard is people laughing, even when there seems to be so little reason for them to laugh. At least that's what D. L. Hughley said. 😍

Let's hear what Lizzy Klein, our 51-year-old jewelry designer has to say. She is the founder of mazi + zo

What kind of work do you do or what are you studying to be?

I started my career in fashion, worked in digital startups for about 25 years, and founded a sustainable jewelry company in 2019.

Is fashion important to you? Why?

Yes! I’ve always loved fashion’s power to inspire confidence, imagination, and ambition… Edith Head said, “You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it."

I also care about craft and materials and think of beautifully made pieces as works of art. I live on NYC’s Upper East Side and find browsing the boutiques on Madison Avenue as inspiring as the museums on Fifth Avenue.

What are your successes and how did you achieve them?

I’ve spent 25+ years working in the digital start-up world and have launched award-winning sites and apps that millions of people use every day.

After years in the digital world, I realized I wanted to work with tangible goods and launched mazi + zo (my current biz) where we design high-quality, ethically produced, easy-to-wear jewelry. In 2020, the organization When We All Vote reached out to mazi + zo to partner on a VOTE necklace that raised a bunch of money for a cause I care about, so that was a highlight. And most recently (June 2021,) our Libra Zodiac necklace landed on a (web)page of Vogue ITALIA, which was the fashion thrill of a lifetime.

Is the name of the Brand important to you when you buy clothing?

Yes and no. There are a few designer brands that are my go-to's because they fit my body shape and style (AlaΓ―a, Prada, and Alexander McQueen,) but I don’t shop exclusively for designer labels. I consider “cost-per-wear” more than brand name and will spend what might seem to some like a lot on a high-quality jacket/sweater/jeans/shoes that I expect to either wear often or keep forever. An example would be pricey snakeskin Celine sneakers, which I probably wore 100x a year, or a Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress that’s still fab after over 10 years. To me, that seems more practical than fast fashion that falls apart after a few wears.

That said, I love discovering new brands, both high and low. Quality and fit are most important to me in clothing.

Describe your personal style of clothing?

Most of the time, I go for a sort of personalized low-key polished style: I love effortless, monochromatic looks that incorporate shine and texture with “basic” pieces in luxe materials. If I wear something bright, it’s usually in a classic style and rarely a print (like a solid fuchsia simple shift dress or a neon orange pleated mini). I love metallics. And these days, I wear sneakers almost every day: current favorites are pristine Adidas Stan Smith's with a gold label.

The low-key vibe carries over into mazi + zo’s jewelry designs: all of our minimalist gold and silver jewelry is designed to shine alone or stacked and layered. I have 7 ear piercings and I am usually wearing 7 different earrings and 3 necklaces and it still feels cohesive (and not overloaded.)

When I get the urge to level up, I mix in something from my collection of timeless statement pieces (like a gold Zadig & Voltaire jacket, Dolce & Gabbana shorts printed with oversized cherries, or a Roberto Cavalli purple suede fringed vest.)

How did you find your personal style? Do you have a signature look?

It’s evolving. In my 20s, I wore fitted suits with short skirts and high heels, my 30s were more fashion-forward with a lot of accessories, and in my 40s I drifted to a much more casual vibe (in line with the times). If five years ago you’d told me I’d hang up my heels and wear sneakers with dresses, I would have laughed, but packing is so much easier now!

Do you have an influence on other people’s clothing style?

I have a few friends who ask for my help to put together a special look or choose an expensive bag, but most of my friends have their own fashion sense. I love sharing fantastic finds with my friends (like Commando’s take on faux leather leggings… I wear these on repeat!) and one of my group chats is full of shopping links.

What are in your eyes the best trends at the moment?

An emphasis on sustainability and eliminating the hideous waste generated by the fashion industry. There are cool brands like NYC’s thesalting and Minimalist who are committed to designing and manufacturing in more sustainable ways. And there’s also a wider adoption of re-homing (re-closeting??) clothes for maximum wear via consignment sites like The Real Real and Poshmark.

What are in your eyes the worst trends at the moment?

Bike shorts for anything but biking.

What kind of fashion advice would you give us?

If you’re looking to buy quality, Instagram commerce is a danger zone as it’s wildly effective at triggering impulse purchases and “you get what you pay for” doesn’t apply: effective marketers can slap a cheap item on an influencer and price it at $50 or $250, so it’s worth researching a company and finding credible reviews rather than trusting their claims. The trick, of course, is finding legitimate customer reviews because it’s really easy for a brand to pay for online reviews and testimonials. Buyer beware!

Who is your style icon and why?

Elaine Welteroth (@elainewelterroth) wears a ton of color and takes her hair and makeup to the max, Laurie Ferraro (@laurieferraro) rocks everyday cool, Hallie Swanson (@halliedaily) reminds me that dressing up is a good idea, and Norma Kamali (@normakamali) has been fabulous for longer than I’ve been alive.

Is there something else you would like to share with us?

Choosing jewelry made with recycled materials is an easy way to prioritize sustainability without sacrificing style. At mazi + zo, we eliminate waste as much as we can by using recycled solid 14k gold and sterling silver, hand-making each minimal piece, and packing every order in reusable (and cute!) containers. Well-made jewelry is always in style and lasts longer than a lifetime, so our customers can feel good about their purchases.

Thank you so much Lizzy to take the time to answer my questions. Your jewelry designs are gorgeous. I love how they can be layered and combined.

Hope you like my blog.....Until next time.....Have a nice day

Interview with Fashion Influencer Christina P. Kantzavelos

Hi There.....  Are my woman's fashion fans here today? Can I tempt you with another Instagram Influencer interview?

I certainly hope so, because what good is blogging if nobody cares what you write about. You won't hear me complaining though, because my blog is still growing. 😍

How is your Instagram doing, because I hear many people complaining? Some Instagram influencers say they are losing followers instead of gaining them even though they haven't changed their tactics. Could be they have a lot of fake followers, and Instagram is working on removing those fake accounts at the moment. 😱

Oh my, that's a tremendous problem, isn't it? Nothing better than having some fake accounts, right? No problems with having to engage with them, because they don't return your likes or comments. 😎

Duh, no, of course not. I bet my next Instagram influencer agrees that engagement is very important. My star for today is the 32-year-old Christina P. Kantzavelos. She has 12.1K followers, which is almost twice as much as me. 😊

Do you have a day job? Full-time or Part-time?

I am a licensed psychotherapist and journal author @beginwithintoday, as well as gluten-free food, travel, and health-conscious lifestyle blogger @buenqamino

What made you decide to become an influencer?

Becoming an influencer happened organically. It wasn’t my initial intention. I just knew I wanted to share helpful resources with others, and my platform grew enough to warrant that. I am grateful to be helpful to others.

How many hours do you spend on Instagram on average?

1-2 a day, a few times a week. I like to take breaks, as needed.

Is fashion important to you? Why?

I live a creative lifestyle and enjoy finding a style that reflects this. Even if I am not feeling well, dressing up often puts me in a better mood. As I’ve gotten older, I learned about ethical and slow fashion and that became super important to me because we vote and make changes with our dollar.

What are your successes and how did you achieve them?

I have two master's degrees, including an undergraduate and a graduate degree from UCLA. I started my private practice, and blog, survived Lyme disease, and so much more. My purpose drives my success, and I want to acknowledge privilege as well.

Is the name of the Brand important to you when you buy clothing?

Not exactly, unless the brand is known for being sustainably minded. I am happy to wear brands that aren’t known instead of brands that are established but aren’t ethical in their practices.

Describe your personal style of clothing?

My style is forever evolving and changing. Some days I feel like wearing all vintage, and other days, I feel like dressing up, or getting comfy in athleisure. Most days, I wear something in-between. I also love upcycled outfits. The one thing that’s constant is that my clothes are almost always comfy enough to sleep in. I am sensitive to various fabrics, and work from home, so I keep comfort in mind, while being camera-ready

How did you find your personal style? Do you have a signature look?

I grew up being into indie and punk rock music, and that lent to an alternative style that has developed into what I wear now. Vintage, modern, funky, alternative, and cute. I like to say my style is what you’d imagine Kurt Cobain’s grandma to dress like.

Do you have an influence on other people’s clothing style?

Often I get asked where I purchase what I am wearing when I am out and about, or when I post to my stories or page. I’ve also been told I’ve inspired certain outfits and styles. It's an honor each time.

What are in your eyes the best trends at the moment?

Color blocking and monochrome outfits are fun! I love the mesh tops too.

What are in your eyes the worst trends at the moment?

Hoodies under blazers and tractor boots. But hey, I don’t have to wear them.

What kind of fashion advice would you give us?

Forget trends and focus on what brings you the most confidence and joy. And remember, that what you spend your money on matters. It benefits the folks making your clothing, the brand selling them, and your community.

Who is your style icon and why?

I really love Zoe Kravitz’s style.

Is there something else you would like to share with us?

You are already beautiful! Your outfit simply accentuates it.

Get Rid Of Dry Lips Problems Once And For All - 100% Natural Kneipp Lip Balm

Hi There..... Do you have problems with dry lips? Do you use lip balm? Are you a fan of vegan products?

That's a big yes to both questions for me. If I don't tend to my lips, they end up dry and cracked. I have to restrain myself not to bite off the flakes of dried skin. 😬

Not that I can always stop myself, and then I end up with bleeding lips because I bite off too much, which is much worse than dry lips. Don't you dare frown. I bet you did it once or twice, too. 😏

I remember a time when my son was about one year old. It was early in the morning and it was time to get him clothed, but I was playing with him and he was having fun. 😍

He was always full of energy (still is), and he was having so much fun bouncing up and down that he accidentally hit his head against my lip. 😡

It did not hurt him one bit, so he kept on laughing, but my lip was bleeding pretty badly. Hard to imagine sometimes that he is in his 30s already now. πŸ˜ƒ

Time to tell you some more about this lip balm I received from Kneipp in return for my honest opinion. 😎

Let me share some information about this product first.

100% natural formulation

The new Kneipp lip balm Repair & Prevent contains valuable extracts of chamomile and melissa to combat stressed lips. These extracts are packed with active ingredients and therefore have soothing, cleansing, and repairing properties for the lips.

Depot effect

This lip balm has been developed with a special "depot effect". Meaning that after application, the lip balm ensures the hydration is released gradually. This ensures that the lip balm not only serves upon application but also for up to 24 hours after.

The paper blend cap looks like plastic but it isn't!

When you pick up the new cap of our lip care, you will not believe that it isn't plastic. They call this special material 'paper blend'. It has all the advantages of plastic, but not the disadvantages. The material is biodegradable and recyclable. A very interesting new find from our packaging specialists.

Durable cork

They made the bottom of the lip balm of cork which is leftover from the manufacture of cork products. Cork is a very durable and environmentally friendly product. It is completely biodegradable and recyclable without emitting toxic substances. By removing the bark, the cork oak can absorb 3 to 5 times more CO2 than cork oaks with bark.

Sustainable grass paper

The lip balm comes in a folding card that contains innovative and eco-friendly grass paper. Grass paper generates fewer CO2 emissions, requires approximately 3000 liters less water per ton of cardboard, and ensures short transport routes.

Major benefits of this new lip balm:

Softens, nourishes, and protects for a long time
100% natural and vegan
Without preservatives, mineral oils, paraffin, silicone oils, and dyes
Sustainable packaging and free from microplastics
Ideal for dry, chapped lips and sensitive lips

My opinion
I was so happy with this new lip balm. Recently I read a blog post of an online friend of mine who reviewed the same product, and believe it or not, I was slightly jealous. πŸ˜‰

As you know, I am a fan of natural products, so always happy to try them out for you. The lip balm is smooth and buttery and after a few days, my lips are feeling so much better because they don't get bitten anymore. The taste is quite weird at first, but you get used to it after a few days. πŸ˜‹

Maybe you didn't know but Kneipp has a whole range of these vegan lip care products

Extra care

Intense care

Sensitive care

Hydro Care

Interview with Fashion Designer Nurcan Rutter

Hi There..... Are you in for another fashion designer interview?

I am glad the fashion industry is so versatile so that I can present you with something different every time. You are not waiting for boring blog posts with always the same stories, now are you. Well, it’s something I don’t want either. I think it’s fun to always find new things. πŸ˜€

Today’s fashion designer interview is largely about hair accessories. Ah, talking about hair jogged back some ancient memories of my initiation into the college fraternity. It was lots of fun. We went by tram to the center of the city where we had to clean the tram rails with a toothbrush. Nah, they didn’t have to be squeaky clean. It was just for a laugh. πŸ˜„

Afterward, we took a walk and stopped frequently, where they filled our clothes with straw and rubbed our heads with a gel-like substance with a strong garlic odor. They led us to a party to celebrate our initiation. It was lots of fun except for one minor detail. It took me a couple of weeks to get the smell of garlic out of my hair. πŸ˜‚

Enough about me. Let me introduce you to Nurcan, who is a 34-year-old fashion designer and has her own brand based in the UK. 😊

What kind of work do you do, or what are you studying to be?

I studied in Turkey as a fashion designer & I studied garment technology for fashion at UAL Fashion Retail Academy in London.
After I worked for the fast fashion industry, I saw the impact of the industry on the environment. I took a decision to go in the opposite direction of fast fashion and created my upcycling fashion journey and brand officially in May 2021.
At the moment I am collecting unwanted fashion items, deadstock fabrics, beads, or craft equipment to re-design them to have a new life as hair accessories, bags, purses, even jewelry rather than going into landfills.

What made you decide to become a Designer?

It dates back to my childhood. I grew up in a big family & street culture in Turkey, Istanbul where women came together to cut, sew and alter their clothes. I was always with them cutting & doing edges or pinning the fabric & trying to make clothes for my dolls with their leftover fabrics so I probably got influenced by the local talented ladies.

Is fashion important to you? Why?

Yes, because it is a visual and endless industry where you can combine lots of styles from the last century to today. It is actual history, you can look at fashion evolution like a tale of all our humanity. This tells you a lot about the past such as economy, politics, popular culture, society, art. It is like a massive database.

What are your successes and how did you achieve them?

When I was in college I had the opportunity to work with one of the famous Haute couture brands in Turkey called Yildirim Mayruk. I worked closely with the designer and his lovely team, and their workplace was just dreamy. They didn't allow you to throw any piece of fabric in the waste bin.
This experience taught me about the Haute couture culture and how to be creative. It made me realize how important a piece of fabric can be.
I learned hand stitching skills, pattern cutting, fitting, and alteration skills there, which are my gold medals today.

Is the name of the Brand important to you when you buy clothing?

No, not at all. The functionality is important to me. I can buy clothing from anywhere from high street names to bazaars or even car boot sales. You can find very functional, unique, and interesting items at car boot sales.
For example, I bought a 3/4 sleeves long waterfalls cardigan from a street bazaar years ago. It can transform into multiple items such as a bolero, or a tunic with a belt. I even transferred it to a bag with a couple of knots. It is probably my favorite piece in my wardrobe.
Of course, I have branded pieces too! Some English heritage brands I love such as Hobbs, Jigsaw, The white company but I mainly focus on second hands shops, bazaars, or individual unique brands, because you can see and feel the journey and you can even find more unique and functional pieces from them.

Describe your personal style of clothing?

I can identify myself as boho style which is the most comfortable for me, and besides that, I think I could describe myself in 80s hippie and vintage style rather than a modern look. In terms of items, you can find me in a long flare dress and platform shoes or sandals in the summer.
I love to complete my look with jewelry, especially bulky ones like drop earrings or boho-lined necklaces. I also love to decorate my hair with a hair accessory. Could be a giant scrunchie with a big bun or hair clips to put up my messy hair. Even if I am at home, I like to style myself, especially during the lockdown. I am more conscious about what I am wearing because it expresses my mood & feelings & cares. We also have two dogs and a cat so they are my everyday audience. I also like to look good at zoom meetings.

How did you find your personal style? Do you have a signature look?

I can’t say I have a signature look at the moment, but I like to look timeless. Looking back to my early 20s, I looked more gothic. I was more into dark colors and I remember that anything in black tulle was my favorite. Dark romantic makeup was essential. My look has changed because I found my true esthetic over the years.
I am a short & slim woman so my body shape gets lost by wearing all dark. My wardrobe is more colorful now, and I love flower-printed dresses long/short or mid-length for summer. For winter, I have long scarfs I can wear multiple ways even at home wrapping myself in them to keep myself warm or create a stylish and cozy look.
My other essential touch is mascara. Yes, that actually can be my signature because I believe it is positively changing expression and style.

Do you have an influence on other people’s clothing style?

Yes, they like my vision which impresses me because it proves that I am doing a good job. When they ask me for advice on their clothing style, I always share my honest opinion. I love giving them tips and thoughts about their style.

What are in your eyes the best trends at the moment?

Loungewear! Since the pandemic started, a majority of people work from home. Simple stylish and of course comfortable loungewear is necessary. I guess it will be a key trend from now on. Even when getting back to the new normal.
Seamless work outfit items are key in this decade and they are my favorite. Simple, light, and easy to wear for the new rushing about age.

What are in your eyes the worst trends at the moment?

Bralette. I just don’t find them useful, effective, or necessary.

What kind of fashion advice would you give us?

My first piece of advice would be that you need to wear clothes that fit your body shape, meaning that you need to know your body shape and find the best clothes that are suitable.
It doesn’t matter what your body shape is, fitting clothes will make anyone look stunning.
Second, fashion is a rich sector and there are lots of fashion brands that encourage you to shop effectively by showing you exactly what you need. They will help you avoid having a wardrobe full of items you never wear and they will also help you find your right style too.
I also strongly advise you to alternate your pre-loved items and enjoy making combinations of your clothes, explore new styles of your own. Don't let fashion authorities dictate you, because fashion & styling should be fun. Just enjoy it.

Who is your style icon and why?

Audrey Hepburn, of course. She owned the adorableness and natural, graceful temperament of a classic woman. Stevie Nicks with a combination of bohemian & vintage style, of course, for her powerful voice. Vivienne Westwood with her divergent designs and creativity. Kate Moss for her beauty & unique style.

Is there something else you would like to share with us?

Always be yourself and always have your opinion about styling fashion. It's not about shape so do not let fashion hurt you.

Thank you so much for filling in my questions with so much detail, Nurcan. 😍

I wish I could wear such stunning scrunchies, but long hair is just not for me.

Hope you like my blog.....Until next time.....Have a nice day

Where To Find 15 Great Gifts For Men - Fashion Gift Guide - June 2021

Hi There..... Are you ready for a new gift guide?

Ah, you are probably thinking, what? Is she sharing another gift guide? Oh yes indeed, but not for women. This time I collected some great gifts for men. 😊

At first, I was thinking, should I put them all into one big gift guide, but it would have made quite an extensive list. I felt it was better to split them up. It made me feel powerful being able to split up the sexes. 😁

My list for men is not as extensive as the gift guide for women. I just didn't get in as many reactions, don't ask me why. I wouldn't hold it against you if you would ask me why anyway, because that is usually the first thing I do when people ask me not to ask why. 😏

Cheeky, I know, not my fault. I didn't have any say when my mom and dad made me and therefore also a large part of my character. You really weren't expecting me to blame myself, I hope. πŸ˜‚

Ok men, would you like to start a new trend? Then perhaps you should browse these shops for some more great gifts for men. 😎

Wallet + Leather and Loop $ 69.00

As a father of five young children, I felt like I was throwing out broken toys constantly. I have a low tolerance for waste and it bothered me more and more. I noticed most products, not just toys, were cheap, low quality, and disposable.

The lack of products also being made domestically dismayed me. Almost nothing in retail stores had a “Made in the USA” label. Something didn’t feel right. After some research, I discovered that manufacturing is vital to economic strength.
Over the last half-century, the United States has been slowly losing its manufacturing infrastructure and know-how. Watching the United States slowly and steadily lose that vital competency made me concerned we weren’t thinking properly about our future. Losing knowledge is losing power.

At GRIP6 our mission is to create high-quality products that last decades and to strengthen domestic manufacturing. What you buy from us with your hard-earned money should be something you love and want to use daily for the rest of your life. We know it’s a lofty goal, but it is something we strive for. This approach has worked for belts and we believe it can apply to other products. Our intent is to be more than a belt company.

SIMPLE, FAST, EASY CARD ACCESS- The GRIP6 Wallet was designed to be easy and simple to access your cards as quickly as possible. It's a high-quality product designed and tested to last a lifetime. As with all GRIP6 products, we back it with our GUARANDAMNTEE, an unconditional, unlimited lifetime warranty.

Sleepy Jones exists to help people rest and unplug—in order to reconnect—with ideas, creativity, and with others. We believe that the comfort of being yourself is authentic style. So be yourself, be comfortable, and the rest will come.

Our History
Sleepy Jones was established in 2013 by Andy Spade. When he looked at the people he admired—artists, writers, musicians—they didn’t work and create in suits and ties, yoga gear, or any other fashion fetish. They wore what was comfortable, and sometimes little at all.

The result is a collection of supremely comfortable sleepwear, lounge wear, underwear, and not-quite-ready-to-wear for men and women inspired by the lifestyles of artists.

An everyday uniform for resting, reading, writing, and playing—in or outside the bedroom.

This long-sleeved tee is made in a lightly brushed, medium-weight jersey. The 1x1 rib trim at the cuffs and neck is soft and supportive with quick recovery. The neck trim is applied on the bias to indicate that you care much more about your loungewear. We, like you, take our leisure seriously.

Taking ownership of an exploratory lifestyle and enjoying the Happy-Good Life, our celebrated craftsmen create unisex jewellery, accessories, and lifestyle goods for the Modern Journeyman (and woman). Timelessly British by design and manufacture, ANCHOR & CREW is particularly known for its anchor, rope, and leather bracelets, amongst other quality accessories. In Quality We Trust.

Our rope is hand-wound, certified Navy grade, and used by the GB Royal Navy, our silver and gold is purely .925 sterling and 9ct respectively (hallmarked accordingly), our leather (hide and stingray) is natural and genuine, our natural stones entirely authentic, and all other subsidiary materials are of artisan character; there is no consideration of poor quality. Some brands may want to process the silver coating of base metal, fabricate a look and then advertise their products as high quality, but that's their choice, we won't. Every purchase (jewellery and accessories only) comes with a 1-year warranty and care instructions.

The Project-RWB Red White and Blue Dundee Silver and Rope Bracelet were both designed and skilfully handcrafted completely in Great Britain, In Quality We Trust. For the Modern Journeyman (and woman), ANCHOR & CREW takes ownership of an exploratory lifestyle and enjoys the Happy-Good Life. Combining British craft manufacturing with a discerning modern-minimalist style, this ANCHOR & CREW bracelet features:

3mm diameter performance Marine Grade polyester and nylon rope (GB)
Secure solid .925 sterling silver mushroom-button cleat (GB)
SIZING
This bracelet is one size fits all, with the rope able to extend or tighten to suit your wrist size. To take the bracelet on or off your wrist, simply slide the one adjustable knot around the rope to make the loop size smaller or larger, and once set, keep the loop size consistent and continue wearing by easily unhooking the loop over the clasp. As pictured, the bracelet is most secure when the rope loop is fed through the smaller loop that emerges beyond the clasp. Less is More.

BLACK TAPERED FIT SHIRT £55.00 ($76.17)

I have put my heart and soul into creating what you know to be the TAPERED brand today. Nothing is more important to me than providing you with the perfect product. I not only want to help you showcase your hard-earned body, but it’s also important to us that you can enjoy the confidence of having the perfect TAPERED™ fit.

Like many of our customers, I worked office jobs and for years faced the frustration of ill-fitting shirts that needed to be tucked in from the sides and back each time I stood up from the desk. While the traditional shirts would fit well in the chest and shoulders, they would always bag around the waist. It’s safe to say that it got annoying really fast.

At the end of 2016, I decided to take the leap and worked with a team of designers and industry experts to bring you our exclusive TAPERED™ fit shirt. With thorough testing and endless rounds of edits, I finally produced a product I deemed perfect for you.

Strong physiques are not just made in the gym. They’re made from the clothes we wear. Are you feeling frustrated with shirts billowing around your waist?

The Black Tapered Fit Shirt has been crafted by leading tailors and designers to allow for a close fit on your shoulders and chest whilst tapering in sharply at the waist. Designed with athletes and bodybuilders in mind - proportional and muscular fitted. Guaranteed to make you look in the mirror and admire the same physique you’re proud of in the gym.

Built with comfortable and breathable stretch cotton, achieving freedom of movement and flex comfort.

Our muscle-defining shirts are ideal for both business formal and casual occasions, with the Tapered logo subtly stitched on the wrist for that non-obtrusive look.

Special occasions are so significant, but finding just the right gift isn’t easy. I hope that STAY FINE can provide you some meaningful, intentional, and memorable gift options.

If my season of life in Highline Park, New York, helped to inspire the creation of STAY FINE, then this conversation with Michelle inspired the decision to personalize our products.

My wife and I are passionate about intimate relationships and wholesome lifestyles and relationships. There’s something special about sitting down to craft a sweet brief note to one of our beloved ones, not to mention receiving such a heartfelt message. Whether it be letters or greeting cards, many of my family members, including myself, collect and save every one of these tangible memories as true treasures.

As a faith-based family business, we want to be more than just a business. We’re excited to bring strength and empowerment to our customers’ relationships by delivering outstanding personalized gifts, hopefully with outstanding customer service as well. But we’ll let you be the judge. :)

Brown Leather Suspenders $79.00

JJ Suspenders was created with the goal of designing fresh, high-quality suspenders within a not-so-innovative industry.

It started in 2014 when founders Jackson and Josh were shopping for suspenders to wear at a friend’s wedding and after visiting dozens of shops all they could find were a handful of generic, outdated, and overpriced suspenders. When looking for alternatives online, they quickly found that about 90% of the suspenders on the market were low quality and mass-produced by the same factory. The only suspenders that met Jackson and Josh’s quality standards were from a very old company in England. But with this came high shipping costs, outdated designs, and poor customer service.

It was clear there was an opportunity in this stale industry to make a much better product for men who wanted to add that extra bit of class to their outfits. Combining Jackson & Josh’s (JJ’s) prior entrepreneurial and manufacturing experience, JJ Suspenders was born with a series of designs that brought some much-needed innovation back into this stagnant industry.

We're on a mission to innovate on the long-forgotten things that just barely meet the status quo.

These oxblood-brown leather suspenders are the ideal accessory for a relaxed, contemporary wardrobe. They feature a unique burnt-red hue, bold stitching, and weathered hardware. These suspenders have a lot of character. We love these paired with shorts or denim and a white tee for a chilled-out vibe.

Designed for heights between 5'6 and 6'4.
Includes interchangeable clip and button attachments (with sewing kit) so you can wear them with any pants
Elastic back increases comfort and mobility while preventing clips from slipping off your pants when sitting or kneeling
Suspender width = .75" leather
Classic Y-back design, authentic leather detailing
Includes burlap bag for easy storage
