You won’t find a single black garment lurking in my closet; oh no, I prefer unique clothing and want my wardrobe to resemble a vibrant carnival! 😏⬛🎡

Alright, alright, confession time again, my dear readers! If you have time to read up on all my blog posts, you'll find I've done my fair share of confessions already, but there is always room for more. 😉📖

Now then, maybe I stretched the truth just a tad about my wardrobe being completely devoid of black garments. Let’s just say it’s more like a sprinkling of black amidst a riot of colors. 😁🖤🌈

After all, a touch of black here and there adds a hint of mystery and elegance, right? Ok then, while my closet isn’t exactly ruled by the darkness, let’s just say it’s more like a friendly neighbor who occasionally drops by for a visit. 🌚🏡

Still, fear not, dear color lovers, my love for vibrant hues still shines as brightly as ever, and Tantilly’s unique designs are the perfect addition to my colorful collection! 😎🌈✨

Tantilly - Unique Clothing

Tantilly is a small, unique Dutch brand and an inspiring store located in the beautiful city of Deventer, Netherlands.

We love to make the world a bit more beautiful and colorful!!

We are a cozy, colorful company, and we design, make, and create our own unique clothing line. We have a wonderful online store where all clothing is sold, as well as a physical store in Deventer. Our service is always with a smile.

How did Tantilly come about?

It all started in the beautiful city of Deventer, in one of the nicest streets in the center, the Kleine Overstraat.

In 2009, we began creating the first handmade jewelry and accessory collections for our then store, a small colorful shop with only handmade items. Two years later, inspired by flowers and retro prints, we started sewing our own colorful dresses and skirts... right from the kitchen table.

Our satisfied customers (color lovers) inspired us to create different clothing designs that better suit all different body shapes. Then the dresses were eagerly tried on, and with all the advice we received, the models were renewed time and time again to create perfect dress models. Not too tight on the belly area, often slightly longer at the back... larger sizes than XL... all advice was taken into account, and we started designing more and more unique clothing pieces.

Tantilly today

Today, we have a large collection of clothing, in sizes S - 5XL (36-54), including skirts, dresses, tops, pants, and much more. We believe that EVERY woman can look fantastic and colorful, no matter what size she wears. Many of our dresses have special details to accentuate the positive points of your figure and camouflage the less positive ones.

We have even started making items tailored to size 6XL and 7XL (56-60).

At Tantilly, we love colors and patterns, traditional craftsmanship, ethnic products, and unique designs. We use high-quality fabrics that we choose with great care.

Most of our products are handmade, and many of them are designed by us, so each item is unique, special, and 'one of a kind', and everything is made in very small editions.

Tantilly clothing is colorful and specially made for women who want to express their femininity by wearing colorful, and unique clothing. Tantilly's colorful clothing is made by lovely people in the Netherlands, and in recent years also in one of our Fair-Fashion workshops in India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Turkey.

Tantilly's Vision

The vision of Tantilly is to spread color and happiness into the world.

Everything is possible in the world of Tantilly, and we love to create the perfect handmade garment for you.

Tantilly began in 2009 with a handmade art shop in Deventer, full of handmade jewelry and accessories. Chantal made everything herself from a wide variety of materials. You could choose directly from the stock, or if you came back in an hour, it would be custom-made for you.

A few years later, and drawing much inspiration from colors, flowers, and retro styles, Chantal began making her own designed dresses and skirts... straight from the kitchen table. The store was very small at that time, and the entire jewelry warehouse was situated in the shop.

Over the past years, with all the support and enthusiasm from our colorful customers, the Tantilly team has grown, and a few professional tailors have joined our colorful team. We even opened a sewing workshop in Deventer, above our beautiful store. 

Additionally, two of our tailors often work from their cozy homes, so that means you can visit us in three locations for measurements and to pick up your custom-made garments.

We have a sewing workshop in Deventer, in Zoetermeer, and our old sewing workshop is in Heerde.

We create designs specifically for you, tailored to fit you and your body shape.

You can have the garments made in sizes: S- 4XL / 5XL (36-52).

We work on order, and you can choose from one of Tantilly's favorite designs.

We have a large assortment of clothing models for you to choose from, and we regularly design new models, adapted to weather conditions.

For us, anything is possible.

For all clothing models we make, we have photos, and you can tell us your waist, length, and any other preferences, and we will tailor it for you.

We are here to create the perfect garment together with you.

Our joy in life is to create! With pride, we present the new design of the perfect autumn cardigan - TANTAYA, made by Tantilly with love!

A new, fine autumn cardigan, made in a small edition, available in many different colors.

The available colors are: stone red, coral red, bright red, bordeaux, ice blue, dark purple, bright purple, black, turquoise, cobalt blue, dark blue, light green, lime green, light ochre yellow, dark ochre yellow, ice blue...

How cool and warm are these?

You can wear the Tantaya in two ways, open to draw attention to your dress or top, and to create a tough look when it's less cold.

You can wear the Tantaya closed, with a beautiful button made from recycled coconut shell, for a wonderfully warm feeling and a fashionable look!

The length falls on average just over the hips, this depends a bit on your height.

The vest runs smaller, and you can wear it snug or looser, and we recommend taking a size larger if you don't want it snug on your body.

Compared to last year, they run smaller, so if you have one from last year, take a size smaller now.

My opinion on the Cardigan - Tantaya 

This cardigan, in a rich shade of red, immediately caught my eye with its vibrant hue. As someone who has been hesitant to opt for a somewhat shorter cardigan for quite some time, I was finally sold. 🧥❤️

Red, being my favorite color, drew me in instantly, and the addition of burgundy, one of my most adored shades, brings an extra touch of elegance. 😄❤️🍷

Its versatility is unmatched - whether I'm running errands or out with friends, it's the perfect layering piece, thanks to its soft, cozy fabric ideal for cooler evenings. 😊🏃‍♀️👯‍♀️

I also admire Tantilly's commitment to ethical and sustainable fashion. Knowing skilled artisans crafted my cardigan with love adds to my enjoyment of wearing it. 💚🌱👩‍🎨

In a sea of ordinary sweaters, this red cardigan is a bold statement, like a warm embrace on a chilly evening. I also adore the cute brooch they sent with it. 😊🌊👕

Last but not least, the use of recycled coconut shell for buttons is not only cool but also resonates with my love for coconuts. 😄🥥❤️
