No, I’m not that religious, but it does make you think. Maybe Eve could have done it! Who knows? Perhaps she was the one trying to start the world’s first eco-friendly fashion trend! 😄👗🌍

When I was a kid, my parents, who were super cool and eco-smart, taught me an important lesson. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑🌿

They used to say; “Imagine if everyone threw just one piece of paper on the ground. Pretty soon, you’d have an entire mountain of trash!” 😨🗑️⛰️

That thought stuck with me, and ever since then, I’ve been all about taking care of our beautiful planet. 🌎💕

What made you decide to become a Fashion Designer?

I was driven by a passion for creative expression and a deep commitment to sustainability. The desire to merge these two passions led to the creation of Fabrica Kraft, where fashion serves as a platform to promote eco-friendly practices and ethical manufacturing, making a positive impact in the fashion industry.

Is fashion important to you? Why? 

Absolutely, fashion is very important, and for several reasons:

Fashion is a powerful medium through which communicates its core values. Our clothing and accessory lines are not just about style; they're about making a statement on sustainability, ethical production, and eco-friendliness. Each piece is designed to reflect these values, resonating with consumers who share similar beliefs.

My success story is that I launched a bootstrapped business in the U.S., which now boasts a revenue of $1.2 million and a dedicated team of 40. Over the past three years, we've collaborated with diverse artisans globally, contributing to our significant growth and international reach.

What’s something you might want to do in the future?

In the future, I aim to expand Fabrica Kraft's global footprint, introducing more innovative, sustainable fashion lines and collaborating with a wider network of artisans. I'm also looking forward to integrating advanced eco-friendly technologies in our production processes to further minimize our environmental impact.

Is the name of the Brand important to you when you buy clothing or jewellery?

The name of the brand is indeed an important factor when consumers choose to buy clothing or jewelry. This importance is driven by several factors:

Brand Reputation and Trust: 

The brand name often signifies a level of trust and quality. Customers are more inclined to purchase from a brand they recognize and trust.

I discovered my personal style by aligning Fabrica Kraft's values with fashion trends. It's characterized by sustainable, ethically made pieces that are both elegant and eco-conscious. 

My signature look combines timeless designs with a modern twist, reflecting a commitment to the environment and ethical practices in every outfit.

In my perspective as Fabrica Kraft, the best current trends are those that beautifully merge sustainability with modern aesthetics. Firstly, there's a growing trend towards using eco-friendly materials like organic cotton, bamboo, and recycled fabrics, which is revolutionizing the fashion industry. 

These materials not only reduce environmental impact but also offer high-quality and durability in clothing.

Another significant trend is the shift towards timeless, classic designs over fast fashion. This move encourages consumers to invest in pieces that last longer, reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable wardrobe.

Also, there's an increasing preference for minimalist and versatile styles. These pieces offer flexibility and longevity, aligning with a more conscious and intentional approach to fashion design.

My opinion on the Bird House Architectural Kit

This week, my granddaughter and I embarked on a wild adventure together with the Bird house and Feeder kit from Brix + Stix. Armed with pre-cut wood, acrylic pieces, paint, and bird seeds, we dove headfirst into the world of DIY architectural wonders. 🏠🎨🐦

Let's talk about the kit itself - it's like a treasure trove of bird-friendly goodness! The instructions were clear, but who needs those when you have the combined wisdom of a grandma and her granddaughter? 👵👧💡

My granddaughter, with her colorful soul, decided that the four paint colors provided simply weren't enough. Oh no, she wanted to unleash her inner Picasso and mix them all up for a real rainbow extravaganza. 🌈🎨✨

Now there we were, stirring and splattering paint like a pair of mad scientists, and let me tell you, that birdhouse has never looked so funky. 🎨👩‍🔬👩‍🔬

But wait, it gets better. As we were getting ready to make a feast fit for our feathered friends, we hit a snag: no peanut butter for the feeder. Cue the panic! 😱😬

Still, fear not, dear reader, for in the face of adversity, we improvised. Out came the butter, melted to perfection, and voila! Instant seed glue. Who needs peanut butter when you've got grandma's ingenuity, am I right? 🌟👵✨

In the end, our bird house may have been a little... unconventional, but hey, the birds don't discriminate, right? 🐦🏠😄

And let me tell you, seeing the joy on my granddaughter's face as she proudly finished her masterpiece was worth every messy moment. 😊🎨👧

Now, on the flip side, let's talk about the not-so-glamorous bits of our bird house-building escapade. Clicking those parts together? Let's just say it's not a walk in the park. 🛠️😅

Then again, who needs easy when you've got quality bonding time with your grandkid? Wrestling with stubborn bird house pieces is just another chance for some good ol' fashioned teamwork. Besides, a little challenge never hurt anyone... well, maybe just our patience. 🤝💪😅

Ok, and then there's the feline fiasco. Picture this: knee-deep in birdseed and paint, having the time of our lives, when suddenly disaster strikes. 🐱😱

Our crafty cat gets in on the action and snags the string from the box. Next thing we know, he's playing tug-of-war with the dang thing like it's his new favorite toy. 🐱🎣😲

Let me tell you, that string didn't stand a chance. But in a stroke of luck (or perhaps sheer panic), we intervened before things got too hairy. 🙀🚫✋

With some quick thinking and a little-bit of cat hunting, we could retrieve the string from our furry friend's clutches before he turned it into an impromptu snack. Crisis averted, but let's just say we'll be keeping a closer eye on the craft supplies from now on. 🐾🔍🙈

Well, let’s just say that if I were to dip into a bath, getting out would be an Olympic-level challenge. My joints simply refuse to cooperate! 🛁🏅

My Opinion on the New Skincare Routine

As an avid user of Kneipp products, I was thrilled to hear about the new eco-friendly packaging. 😊🌿

Sustainability is important to me. It was only a few days ago that I had to help my granddaughter prepare for a test about the plastic soup, so I couldn't be more happy with this step Kneipp took to reduce waste. ♻️🌍

Incorporating this product into my skincare routine isn't only good for my skin's health, but also gives me the satisfaction of knowing I'm contributing to the environment. It's a great feeling to make a positive impact while taking care of myself. 😄💚

I’ve got something exciting to share with you today, and it’s *a huge secret* how thrilled I am about it! 🤗

Oh my, you caught me on a lie. No, it’s absolutely not a secret. 😳

Although, I haven’t told you what I am thrilled about, so I can still tell you another secret. That way, it wouldn’t have been a lie. Are you still with me? 😕

Let me start with the one thing you know about me, and that’s the fact that I’ve always had an immense love for fashion brands that care about our planet. 😍

I mean, who wouldn’t want to wear clothes or handbags that not only make you look like a superstar but also help keep our Earth happy and healthy? 🌍💚

So, imagine my joy when I had the chance to chat with this magnificent, sustainable fashion designer! 😊👗👜

I’ve been a fan of eco-friendly brands for quite a while, and I’ve been itching to introduce you all to this fantastic find. 😃🌿

Today, we’re exploring cool clothes that are good for the Earth, made by a designer who wants you to look fantastic all year long. 😎

What is your name, function, and the company you work for?

How old are you?

What kind of work do you do, or what are you studying to be?

I run a sustainable brand that focuses on creating stylish, eco-friendly pieces that are multifunctional throughout the seasons.

What made you decide to become a Fashion Designer?

Seeing a need in the market that wasn’t present. I’ve found it hard to find great, sustainable pieces that are still durable and stylish at a fair price. 

It’s either marked as eco-friendly at a cheap price or eco-friendly at a high price-there really isn’t an in-between. I believe with all things, there is moderation and you don’t need to be high or low to get great pieces.

Is fashion important to you? Why?

At its most basic level, fashion protects our bodies from the elements. At a high level, fashion is self expression, not only in how it looks but also in how it is made and what that says about your ideals and what you think is important. 

Both levels are really important to me because they create confidence. What you put on your body represents not only how you want to look, but what you believe is the future for our planet.

What are your successes, and how did you achieve them?

Launching a company right before the pandemic hit and being able to survive. When we first launched, our sole product was our clear handbag line, which isn’t an ideal time to have launched a company whose product is based on a need for a large event. 

During that time, I was able to rethink my model and continue to lay the groundwork for coming out of it like shifting to sustainable products. We relaunched our products with new sustainable measures a year ago and couldn’t be more grateful for having the time to shift.

What’s something you might want to do in the future?

Continue to grow Margo Paige into a sustainable brand that creates a community for those wanting to do better in their consumption habits and showcasing that small change in your daily

routine can make a big impact later on.

Is the name of the Brand important to you when you buy clothing or jewelry?

Great question. That depends on the brand and what they stand for. I try to seek out brands that align with my goals as a consumer: high quality, seasonless and taking action for sustainable measures within their own brand.

Describe your personal style of fashion?

My personal style is classic and timeless. I try to stick to neutrals, quality over quantity, timeless silhouettes and great accessories.

How did you find your personal style? Do you have a signature look?

I’ve always had a classic look from the start. I’m not sure where it started, but classic and timeless pieces I’ve always gravitated towards. The silhouettes are always comfortable, easy and always in style.

Do you have an influence on other people’s fashion style?

I’d like to think that is what Margo Paige is doing or what it can do in the future. I hope we can influence to buy better, wear longer and find a personal style through our reasonless basics.

What are in your eyes the best trends at the moment?

Cowboy boots are having a moment and it’s one I’m a big fan of. Cowboy boots are extremely versatile to style, comfortable and fun! I also love to see the button downs because they are a great staple to have in the closet and you can do so much with them.

What are in your eyes the worst trends at the moment?

Cargo pants. No one needs them unless you're hiking, fishing, or camping.

What kind of fashion advice would you give us?

If you don’t see yourself wearing the item 30 times, don’t buy it. Stick to pieces that you feel great in-no matter what the trend is. Lean towards classic silhouettes as basics and if you need a trend, look in accessories.

Who is your style icon, and why?

This might be cliche, but Princess Diana is a great icon. Princess Diana wore her looks confidently and taught that you can wear the bold colors, statement pieces and send messages through what you wear. Half the battle in fashion is being comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing, and she emulated that well.

Is there something else you would like to share with us?

Always consider what you're buying, what you're buying it for and how it came to be. I think if we thought more consciously about the origins of clothing like we do with food, we would have a better feel for fashion and overconsumption.
