Introducing you to - Dotpaint Academy

Hi There.....Have you ever heard about Dot painting?

I had never heard of it. So let me tell you a bit more about it 😊

Actually, it was a traditional drawing and painting technique from the Australian Aboriginals. It's a form of art that brings peace and tranquility. It raises awareness and brings you back to your true self.

Dot painting makes you forget everything around you. Out of your mind and into your heart.

Sounds great.....Don't you agree 😊

That is why Natashja created the Dotpoint Academy

She sees the pleasure it brings to people to find their inner peace in this hectic world. The need for inner peace and self-fulfillment is large in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Unity consciousness seems to grow and people like to join each other to create in freedom. It's a form of Art Therapy, and people find it to be very relaxing. It taps into their creative ability that is present in every one of us.

The new trend is to fight burnout by dot painting. With the hypnotizing paint-drop patterns made on stones, canvas, and wood. Drawing for adults was a trend already and now dot painting has been added to that trend. It seems as if the increase of stress and burnout has also had its effect on creative workshops. Creativity to find peace and quiet in your head and focus on yourself.

Natashja started dot painting herself to take the mind of her own illness. She conquered breast cancer and needed something to make her relax during this process of recovery. This dotting had such a big impact on her health that she started her website https://www.natashja.nl/. This became such a success that she decided to lead others so that they would be able to lead their own workshops. And that is how her www.dotpaint-academy.nl came to be.

But let me show you some of those pieces of Art that Natashja created 😃

They look really cool..... don't you agree? If you are thinking.....I want to be able to do that too.....you can find a lot of workshops on her website too 😃

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great weekend

Blogger Influencer Brand Collaborations Europe

Hi There.....Are you a brand or blogger, influencer from Europe?

Yes.....then there is something I would like to share with you 😃

I just made a new Facebook group Brand Bloggers Influencers Connect Europe

I felt that we Europeans needed a separate group and instead of waiting for someone to come up with the idea, I thought let's just make one.

The intention of the group is to connect small Brands and maybe later on larger Brands with Bloggers or Influencers.

Brands will be able to make a post in the group in which they reach out to Bloggers or Influencers to promote their product.

Newbie Bloggers or Influencers that are looking to give free blog posts in order to grow their audience are welcome to post in the group as well.

Good idea?.....Or not?..... What do you think?  😯

Since I just started this group yesterday I would love for you all to join. The bigger the group gets the more opportunities it will bring.

I am also open to all kinds of suggestions on improving this group 😄

So let's get this show on the road and start joining.

Hope you like my blog post.....Until next time.....Have a great day

Seadbeady's Finds on Etsy - 5

Hi There.....Are you also having a sunny day?

Don't you just love these kinds of days? Would you like to get a bit of inspiration to freshen up your wardrobe?

I am in for that 😄

How about a little bit of history I found on Wikipedia on that first?

We all know that clothing is something only humans do and it has been a feature in most human societies for a very long time. But it is actually not known just when people started to wear clothes.

Things like textiles appeared for the first time in the Middle East during the late stone age.

You might think now.....Oops, stone ago how long ago was that?

That is what I thought.....History was never my forte 😏

Seems like it started about 2.5 million years ago and ended in 2500 BC.

From these times on to the present day the methods of textile production have continually evolved, and depending on their surroundings the choices of textiles that were available influenced how people clothed themselves.

But let's get back to your wardrobe needs 😃

Here are some things I found on Etsy for you, and all for 50 € or less

Pink Wallet from KoopjesAap

Hi There.....Are you a fan of soft pink 😃

I actually wasn't for a long time. I'm not sure what made me change my opinion, but I am now.

Most recently I received this pink wallet from Koopjesaap in exchange for my honest review.

Pretty.....don't you think so 😄 I instantly loved it. To my opinion, it is very stylish as they say. And the fabric is soft, which makes it nice to handle. It is ideal to put some money and some cards in it. Here is a picture I took from the inside of the wallet.
You have the zipper bag for your small change and you can put your id card in the small window. It is not that big so you can easily put it in your handbag.

You can get this wallet in 7 different colors.....Bleu, Brown, Grey, Green, Red, Purple and Pink off course 😊

KoopjesAap has a lot of great deals on their website. They even offer discounts sometimes up to 90%. They have a large range of products to offer. But let me show you some of them out of the Jewelry and Accessories section.

Seadbeady's finds on Etsy - 4

Hi There.....How is the weather over there?

Are you getting ready for spring? Maybe you still need a great Spring Dress?

Actually, since I lost so much weight (41 kilos) I can't wait to buy myself a new dress. Haven't worn any dresses for ages it seems 😄

Did you know that dresses in many cultures were worn by men more often than women 😀

Like for instance, the Scottish kilt and the Greek toga were part of menswear. Later on, when women started to wear more appropriated dresses, men stopped wearing them.

In Belgium, we even have a special term for that first warm day in spring when a lot of women wear a skirt for the first time in the year with bare legs. We call it 'Rokjesdag', you could translate that as 'Skirtsday'.

Since I am such a big fan of Etsy, I thought I'd show you some dresses you can find there 😃

Light Blue Linen Dress, Casual Dress, Linen Dress For Women

Handpainted sporty elegant dress, sweatshirt dress, squirrel painting

Introducing you to - SeaAndSoulCharts

Hi There.....Are you a fan of Nautical Charts?

I beg your pardon.....you might be thinking 😦

Let me explain what a nautical chart is first. It is a graphic representation of the sea area and the coastal regions near to it. But I am sure it will become clear to you once you see what SeaAndSoulCharts has in store for you.

But first a little bit about how they got started. It began as a friendship between Bob and Anna who met while producing nautical charts for different companies.

Anna, the art director, and Bob, the manufacturer, shared besides what they were producing, a love for water, family, and friends. As a result of changing times, they decided it was time to work together under their own brand where they could ensure the best possible customer experience and have complete creative and quality control.

Almost 10 years ago Bob's company and Anna's company began working together to create personalized works of art. Having drawn and or manufactured for different companies over the last 13 year, the next step in the evolution was to manufacture their own brand with things like clocks, cribbage boards, serving trays and ornaments.

I bet I made you quite curious to see more about this amazing shop. Here are some of the Items I chose for you.
