Jouwbox - Special Ekoplaza Edition - Natural Products - Drinks

Hi There..... Do you like to take care of yourself? Do you like natural products? Are you a drinker, perhaps?

Haha, just joking, the question is, are you a coffee or tea drinker? Today all revolves around natural products for drinking. Isn’t it the most enjoyable way to take care of yourself? Sipping a nice cool or hot drink can make you feel completely relaxed, right? 😎

Ah, I am such a picky person regarding drinks. The only things I drink a lot are plain water, green tea, and fruit tea. Once a day I also drink half of a small bottle of fruit juice. I am not at all fan of coffee, and not from alcoholic beverages either. Hard to believe, right? 😏

My dad didn’t quite understand that. When we became teenagers, he wanted his 3 daughters to learn to drink beer for starters. I think it was a Stella we first tasted. Yuck, nope, way too bitter, so not my cup of tea. 😵

My sisters liked it, so why not me? What was wrong with me? Perhaps it was just the question of finding the right drink for me. He would always be in a good mood when he found something new that he thought I would like. I tasted all kinds of white wine, red, rose. 😝

He would say, perhaps you should taste this red wine then, you will like it, I am sure. He would always smile, happy he had found the right drink this time. Nothing was further from the truth. 😩

Ah, he said, I know, maybe you are more a fan of stronger drinks like whisky or cognac. Oh my, I remember the taste of cognac in my mouth as if it was yesterday. I couldn’t help spitting it out as soon as I tasted it. So disgusting, yuck. Crazy, I know, that's just me, a crazy old spitting woman. 😁

After a few years of having tasted almost anything from alcoholic beverages out there, he gave up. For the longest time, I thought I was the only person in the world that doesn't like alcohol. Maybe there really was something wrong with me. 😱

What time is it? Ah yes, time to talk a bit more about those natural products from my JouwBox. Some drinks in particular.

1. CLEO’S - BLOSSOM LOVE THEE

So what does their website say about this tea? Blossom Love is a delicious green tea with jasmine and elderflower. The lavender and elderflower complete the bouquet so that you can enjoy this soft, floral tea intensely. The ingredients are 100% organic and you can drink this tea any time of the day to relax.
Honest tea selected with care and produced sustainably. At Cleos, we know where, how and by whom our tea is made. In this way, we not only guarantee tea of the highest quality, but we also contribute to a better world. Reasonable prices, equal opportunities for men and women, and a sustainable and organic production process, that's our aim.

I am a sucker for a good cause and that's why I am going to say that I love this tea. Haha, no, no worries, I am really giving my honest opinion, I truly am a huge fan of this tea. 😍

Normally I drink my green tea with a half spoon of honey and some lemon juice. This tea was excellent already, and with my honey and lemon, it was just perfect for me. One of the best green teas I have ever tried. I swear that it's the truth, nothing but the whole truth. 😋

2. DR. MARTINS - IJSKOFFIE COCONUT CAPPUCINO

So what does their website say about this coffee drink? Do you like aromatic coffee? With a lot of milk? Does it have to be 100% vegan? With a hint of coconut? Do you like innovative packaging made from responsibly produced raw materials?

Here comes your special cappuccino: With fine coconut milk and strong coffee. From Arabica beans. 100% organic from carefully selected plantations. Guaranteed without genetic engineering. All that's left now is ... Shake well and enjoy - at home or on the go!

I already told you I don't like coffee, so I gave this one to my husband. Sorry to say, he didn't like it. You could taste coffee in it, but it was quite bland, he said. Could be a question of taste, of course, because he likes his coffee pretty strong. 😞

3. FRANKLY JUICE - ORGANIC GINGER SHOT

What does their website say about this ginger shot? A refreshing and medium-strength, high-quality ginger shot that improves and strengthens your immune system. It is packed with vitamins and antioxidants and it will give you an instant boost! 100% organic and cold-pressed, no additives, just a natural good taste.

Contains only natural sugar from the cold-pressed ingredients.
Anti-inflammatory, immune-enhancing, and rich in antioxidants and vitamins.
We work with organic farmers who supply us with their 2nd sort of fruit and vegetables for the production of our delicious Frankly ginger shots.

I was afraid to taste this ginger shot because I suspected it would be way too spicy and wouldn't taste very nice. When I tried it, I can't say the flavor was great, but it wasn't bad at all. Even more so, I can easily imagine that lots of people will like it. It tasted somewhat like a slightly sour apple juice, but a little spicier. The taste lingered on my tongue for a few hours, though. 😅

That's it for today, my lovely readers. If you are curious about my first review of this new JouwBox, check out this blog post https://seadbeady.blogspot.com/2021/03/review-about-jouwbox-special-edition.html

Review on the Jouwbox - Take Care Of Yourself with Ekoplaza Natural Products

Hi There..... Do you like to take care of yourself? Are you a fan of natural products?

Yes? No? Are you really going to tell me you don't like to take care of yourself? I sure hope not, because it is so important, especially in these weird Corona times. Wouldn't it be great if you could do this with natural products? 😄

You know, when I was a young girl, it was quite natural to have natural products. I know, I am ancient, haha. I remember things like the brown soap my mom used to clean the floors or like the soap we used to wash was just glycerine soap with no particular scent added. 😏

It wasn't all good, though. I remember the deodorants weren't anything like those of today. I had a lot of problems because of that. We had to wear school uniforms and since we weren't rich, we only had 2 uniform blouses that had to last for the entire year. 😳

Can you guess what happened? At the beginning of the school year, the blouses were new, clean, and fresh. The washing powders weren't as potent as they are now, so after a while, the scent of our armpit sweat didn't wash off anymore. At the beginning of the week, the blouses were still ok, because they had just been washed, but by the end of the week the stench resurfaced again. 😬

I was very much aware of that and in the morning as I had just put on deodorant everything was still cool. By the end of the day, however, I felt more like a penguin, keeping my arms close to my body not to let others notice the stench. Ah, those good old days. 😏

Some things are better left forgotten, I suppose, so let's talk about more interesting matters. Last Friday, I received another 'JouwBox' (in English that would be Yourbox) to review. 😍

This one is a special edition. Nutritionist Ralph Moorman went in search of the gems of health and quality in the EkoPlaza range. This means that the JouwBox only contains products that meet its strict health criteria. Inside are 17 natural products with a value of € 140. You can get yours for just € 49.95, delivered completely free to an address of your choice. 😀

You will have to hurry, though, because at the moment as I am writing this only 2% are left. 😱

This Ekoplaza edition contains a delightful mix
of food, vitamins, and care products. What makes this collaboration special is that Ralph Moorman has been working with Ekoplaza for at least 10 years to make organic food more known and popular among the public. This contributes to a healthier and more sustainable world. Also, the products in this edition are all for sale at Ekoplaza. 😊

First, let me tell you what's inside the box this time.

2. ARTIC BLUE - PURE ARCTIC FISH OIL CAPSULES (60)

3. INNERME - PROTEIN BAR CHOCOLATE

17. BEE HONEST COSMETICS - HAND SOAP NEUTRAL

Or you could check out this video

WELEDA - ALMOND SOOTHING SHOWER CREAM.

Before I tell you some more about this shower cream, let's see what their website says about this product.

The Almond Soothing Shower Cream gently cleanses thanks to its soap-free formula. It is very suitable for sensitive and easily irritated skin. It protects the skin from drying out thanks to its cream texture enriched with organic almond oil.

The shower cream respects the natural balance of the skin thanks to a skin-friendly pH value and leaves a soft almond scent on the skin.

Because it was a tube, it concerned me at first that once opened, I would have to close it each time after taking some out of it. Luckily that was not the case, because it's thick enough and it doesn't ooze out of the tube. 😌

I was pretty happy with it because my skin felt nice and soft after my shower. The skin on my legs especially is quite dry and often after taking a shower my legs get all flaky. Not this time, so I didn't need to put on extra body lotion after showering. 😃

BOTANIQUE - POMEGRANATE SHAMPOO BAR.

Let's see what their website says about this shampoo bar for dry and damaged hair.

The bars are made with ingredients of natural origin, without palm oil, and from certified organic cultivation. The 'ZERO plastic inside' logo of the Plastic Soup Foundation shows that no micro-and nano plastics have been added. One bar equals the use of three shampoo bottles. Very durable. The wonderful scent comes from natural essential oils. And to keep the color and scent good, the bars come in a plastic-free box made of FSC-certified cardboard.

Before you try this one, I would recommend that you buy a soapbox if you don't have one yet. I didn't have one, so I used the lid of a plastic jar. That caused a slight problem. 😉

First, I wet my hands and rubbed the shampoo bar between my hands. Then I massaged it in my hair and put the soap on the lid. I was almost certain that I would have to do that a second time. 😦

It didn't seem that much to me, but I was wrong because my hair foamed nicely. After rinsing my hair, I noticed I had not put the jar lid far enough from me and it had completely flooded. Typically me. Not the perfect way to let it dry. 😁

BEE HONEST COSMETICS - HAND SOAP NEUTRAL

Let's see what their website says about this hand soap.

This hand soap combines gentle cleansing with natural, nourishing ingredients, including organic honey that nourishes, protects, and helps restore your skin. Enriched with a natural, allergen-free perfume, suitable for easily irritated skin.

Skin type: suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.

Use: shake the bottle before use if necessary. Use the pump to dose, wash your hands and rinse.

I have tried products from Bee Honest before, but not their hand soaps, so I was curious to find out more about this one. I love the fact that it is gentle on your hands because our hands have suffered so much already in this Corona crisis. Washing my hands so frequently really made them dry and not soft at all. This soap doesn't just clean your hands, but it's nourishing as well. What more could you ask for. 😍

Some of you may already know that I want to give equal attention to all the products from this box. Just keep an eye out on this blog, because you will find out more about the other products from this Jouwbox pretty soon. 😍

Hope you like my blog.....Until next time.....Have a nice day

Review about the JouwBox 11 - Natural Products - Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Healthy Lifestyle

Hi There..... Do you like natural products? Do you like Extra Virgin Olive Oil? Would you like a more Healthy Lifestyle?

I think I’m on the right path now. Since my Gastric Bypass, my eating habits have completely changed. 😄

Even though I could often restrain myself, I had some very nasty habits and certainly not the most healthy lifestyle. It was a constant fight between the good and the bad me. It felt as if there was some kind of demon in my head saying ‘Go on, don’t be a pussy, take it if you want it, one won’t hurt you, and nobody will know’. 😧

Then on the other side, the voice of reason was saying ‘Don’t do it, it’s not good for you, you are way too fat already, you are going to get caught’. I know that voice of reason was a bit cruel sometimes. Guess I am lucky nobody knew what was going on in my head or they would have put me in a mental institution. 😂

One of my problems was that I did not seem to have a stop button. There was always room for more. Not that I blame my parents, but they weren’t the best role models on that point. I remember times when we would sit around the table having eaten all so much we had to unbutton our pants to make room for our swollen bellies. Another problem was that my food stayed in my intestine too long and nothing seemed to come out. 😏

Things couldn’t be more different now. It’s as if they have brainwashed me. Oh my, what if they did? 😲

I suppose the fact that you can’t eat any sugary foods in the first few weeks made the difference for me. I have got no more sugar cravings, even better I don’t even like sugary foods anymore. New Year’s eve I joined in to eat a piece of biscuit cake, but I didn’t like it. There are so many things I used to love but just don’t like anymore, and I would be crazy to learn to eat those things again. I may be a bit crazy, but not that crazy. 😁

But if you understand the Dutch language, this blog post might help you. In my JouwBox there was a book from Joël Goudsmit, Reboot Je Gezondheid in 24 uur (Reboot your health within 24hours). What does their website say about this book about a healthy lifestyle?

Reboot your health in 24 hours has become the book the writer was looking for himself but could not find: a book that summarizes everything about your health from A to Z in one cover as concisely as possible.
You can immediately apply what you read. The book takes you through all kinds of daily habits and morning, afternoon, evening rituals. The writer put on honest and, above all, critical glasses and tried to make you think about which (un)healthy choices you make (un)consciously and what the effect on your health is.

He has written all the knowledge and practical experience gained in an understandable language; He tries to answer all your health questions; He gives tips and describes fun facts, interspersed with facts, practical checklists, and several handy recipes with which you can, for example, make toothpaste, washing-up liquid or deodorant. Thanks to the tips and handy checklists, you will find out how you can change your daily habits to improve your health and environment.

In the book you will learn:
- Why you should shit squatting
- That you should only wash and care for your skin with natural products that you can actually eat.
- Why you should only eat seasonal fruits.
- To spend less time on your screen.
- How much water you should drink in a day and that 8 glasses of water a day is wrong.
- That you have to exercise in different ways to obtain physical health.
- That the air in your home is often even more polluted than outside.
- How to recognize healthy and unhealthy foods and products in the supermarket.
- Why you should cook with healthy pans.
- Why you should wash with cold water.
- That modern chewing gum mainly consists of plastic.
- How you can clean your house naturally.
- That you should only drink a few cups of coffee a week.
- Why counting calories is a waste of your time.
- Why electro smog could harm your health.
- How to make your own toothpaste, deodorant, and detergent.
and so much more!

If you are open to change, Reboot your health in 24 hours can become your guide on the way to more health with which you will not only make your life healthier but also for your fellow human and the world.

There are a lot of things in this book I didn't realize needed changing. The book makes you aware of everything around you, not just what you eat or use on your skin. 😊

I thought I was rid of most of my bad habits, but this book gives you a completely fresh perspective on life.
The book contains so many tips and handy checklists on how to improve those habits. Some of them are so straightforward that it makes you think, why didn't I think of that. 😮

The other one I would like to tell you a bit more about today is the Biological Extra Virgin Olive oil from Olive Art. What does their website say about this extra virgin olive oil?

This delicious Greek organic olive oil from Olive-art is of top quality and has already won several international "Taste Awards". The olive oil comes from Crete near Mylopotamos in the province of Rethymnon. Here, the famous Koroneiki olives are grown on a family estate in the best possible conditions, such as soil and microclimate, to produce excellent olive oil.

That is why this region and the olive oil have been awarded a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status. This oil is cold-pressed and (unlike most industrial oils) not refined. In this way, many valuable substances are retained that would otherwise be filtered out. This ensures fragrant oil that has a soft taste and in which you can still taste the origin. The organic oil is certified by the Organization of Control and Certificate for Organic Cultivation.

Picture by Andreas Lischka from Pixabay

I didn't want to use this olive oil for just frying some vegetables or meat, so I used it to pickle my cucumber. I usually do this by slicing the cucumber, adding olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and dried chives. 😋

I had to use a picture from Pixabay because I forgot to take a picture of my cucumber salad, but it looks a lot like mine. I know, but my excuse is that I am getting old and old people forget things sometimes. 😄

You can really taste that this isn't your standard olive oil because of the delicate flavor. I haven't tried it yet but I am thinking of making the famous Italian Aglio e Olio Spaghetti with this oil. I can imagine this being a perfect choice. Ooh, I am looking forward to trying it already. 😋

Review about the JouwBox 11 - Rosewater Spray and Mild Hand & Body Wash

Hi There..... Do you like Natural Products? Would you like me to tell you more about the Rosewater Spray and the Mild Hand Wash from my JouwBox filled with natural products?

First things first though, I wish you all New Year with lots more freedom to do what you love. "Each year’s regrets are envelopes in which messages of hope are found for the New Year."- John R. Dallas Jr. 😘

Did you have fun on New Year’s Eve? I sure hope you all did. Even it was in a smaller circle for most of us. No fireworks, no parties, home before midnight. Even Cinderella was allowed more. 😏

I have a lot of fond New Year’s Eve memories, with the entire family on my dad’s side, when I was a young girl. I remember playing outside with our nieces and nephews in between meals. Often it had snowed or frozen. We didn’t mind the cold. We would have snow fights, make snowmen, or slide on the ice. 😍

There would be gifts for everyone, and lots of drinking and laughter. My aunt would always dress up and put on a crazy show. She was a born entertainer and there never was a dull moment. 😀

At midnight everyone would sit around the table, and she would always sing the same song. It wasn’t a real song, but the words were French. It sounded like the song of a young girl that hadn’t learned the language yet. The words were something like this "C’est la tu passé de raderie dera, C’est la tu passé, Ceçi sont tous trompée." 😄

She would always start with a napkin in her left hand and pass it on to her right hand. Then she passed it to the person next to her. He or she then had to pass it on again until she stopped singing. The one holding the napkin would have to give a gift to someone. I know, my family is a bit crazy and I bet that rubbed off a bit on me too. No worries though, it doesn't hurt a bit. 😉

How about I stop babbling and tell you more about this Bulgarian Organic Rosewater spray from Alteya Organics? What does their website say about this Rosewater? See, I can be serious if I want to. 😄

It is bottled in the heart of the Valley of Roses in Bulgaria. Alteya’s certified organic Bulgarian Rose Water is the world’s most exquisite 100% pure, natural, organic flower water. The beautiful fragrance, special qualities, and plants’ synergy of this organic rose water are well known all over the world.

Alteya’s Pure Organic Rose Water is a Therapeutic and Food Grade product. By using a unique distillation technique, which embodies century-old traditions and modern technology, they distill a special grade rose water that completely preserves the synergy of the rose plant.
100% organically grown and ethically harvested from the family rose farm in the heart of the Bulgarian Rose Valley.

Benefits:
• Therapeutic, cleansing, and detoxifying
• Anti-inflammatory, acne-preventing, and balancing
• Anti-aging and moisturizing
• Rejuvenating, stimulating, and harmonizing
• Digestion-stimulating and anti-septic
• Food and beverage flavor enhancer
• Rejuvenates, hydrates, beautifies
The Rosewater Spray is Recommended for all skin and hair types

What's not to like about this very refreshing natural product. I sprayed it on a cotton pad and gently rubbed it into my face. It was very refreshing and has a wonderful scent. But you can spray it anywhere on your body, even on your hair. I am definitely going to try it out next time I have been in the sun too long. 😎

The other product I planned to tell you more about today is the Hand & Body wash from Piroche Cosmetiques. What does their website tell us about this Hand Wash?

It's a bottle with natural mild hand soap and shower gel all in one. This cleansing gel is revitalizing and refreshing because of the mint. The sage in this hand wash has an antioxidant effect and the addition of thyme makes this hand & body wash antiseptic and wonderfully fragrant.
The hand soap is gentle on the skin and also suitable for children.

You can use it throughout the day to wash your hands (also easy to carry in your purse, so you don't have to use synthetic hand soap). It can also serve as a shower gel for the entire family. Apply the product to damp skin, massage, and rinse.

The essential oil of thyme, sage, and mint are the active ingredients of this hand wash.

If I try out new products, the first thing I usually do is dive my nose into them. This hand soap has such a wonderful fragrance as if you are in a sauna. You can really pick up that thyme and mint scent. 😍

I think it's perfect to take with you on your holiday because of the handy size of the bottle. What could be better than a refreshing shower after a hot sunny day? And your skin feels nice and soft afterward. 😘

Review about the JouwBox 11 - Face Cleanser and Eye Cream for Dark Circles

Hi There..... Do you like natural health products? Would you like to know more about a Face Cleanser? Or maybe about an Eye Cream for dark circles?

Have you been clinging to your screen and waiting for my next review on the natural products from my JouwBox? I know, I am sorry to have kept you waiting so long. 😏

If you are waiting, time can pass by really slow. I have done my share of waiting in my life, but some of it is my fault. I have the unpleasant habit of always wanting to be early for an appointment. 😯

The problem was when I was young the cell phone hadn’t been invented yet. Now if I am too early, I can always do some liking on my Instagram or play a game. You can never do too much on your Instagram if you want to get likes you have to give likes. I would hate it if I kept giving someone likes and they would not return any. 😈

Unless it’s some hopeless guy looking for love. I have learned not to return those likes anymore because they always want more. I don’t get it Instagram is no dating app as far as I know, and I am not looking for love just likes and comments. 😂

I must admit I learned the hard way. Some guy made a profile named Keanu Reeves. He is one of my favorite actors, so I responded when he sent me a private message. He told me he had no friends in actual life that he could talk to, so I kinda felt sorry for him. 😢

It was really exciting thinking I was really talking to the great actor himself. At least that’s what I thought until after a few days of chatting he asked me to help him. He said he needed my help for some kind of charity. Not that I am against charity, but I thought it weird that someone like him would have to pursue people to give to a good cause. 😲

That made me suspicious, but what made it even more suspicious was when he suggested that I talk to a woman who was in charge of it all. I blocked him, but he keeps following me with new Keanu Reeves’ accounts. The only difference is that I don’t respond anymore. By the way, Keanu, if you are reading this so sorry, I blocked you. 😄

Let's get round to some more important things like the face cleanser and eye cream for dark circles from my Jouwbox that I was telling you about.

First up today is the Eye Cream from Mudmasky. What does their website say about this eye cream?

Superfood for your under-eye bags. This Serum-infused Eye Mask is specifically formulated for the thin and sensitive skin under your eyes. It contains a super-high level of natural antioxidants.

It improves the elasticity of the skin after 4 – 7 uses. By improving elasticity your skin under your eyes looks visibly less dark and less sunken. Eventually – after 7 – 12 uses – fine lines around the eyes are visibly smoothed.

Your skin under your eyes needs special attention. Most people assume that skin is skin and don’t understand why the skin in certain areas seems to be more sensitive than skin in other areas. The area under the eyes is a good example of skin that often behaves differently than the skin elsewhere on your body. That’s because, like the surface of a drum, it covers a large hollow area underneath. If the skin is not particularly thick, it can sag, wrinkle, turn dark, and generally betray everything from your age to how much sleep you’re getting. This type of special skin requires special treatment, that’s why MUDMASKY has created the first-ever Serum-Infused Eye Mask.

I kept you waiting long enough. Now it's time you learn the truth about this eye mask. I have used it 3 times already and noticed a lit less puffiness already. It looks a bit like mud, and it feels a bit grainy too, but it doesn't hurt when you put it on. I cleaned my face first and left it on for 8 minutes. After a few minutes, you feel that it's working. After you wash off the product, you get a cold sensation under your eyes.

We also received a little extra from Mudmasky. A Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask. What more could a woman ask for.

The second one for today is the Super Foodies Face Cleansing bar from Oolaboo. What does their website say about this Face Cleansing bar?

An environmentally conscious, creamy, and mild facial cleanser for normal to dry skin types. Because we make it with coconut oil and vitamin E, a natural constituent of our skin, it provides important antioxidant properties to help protect your skin from pollution and other external stressors that can damage your skin. If you're a coconut lover, this bar will give your skin the cleanse it needs without affecting its protective moisture barrier, while being 100% soap-free!

0% silicone, 0% plastic, 100% handcrafted, 100% vegan, 100% natural ingredients

A new zero-waste beauty innovation: a compact and light size reduces carbon footprints.
It takes up less transport space than conventional bottles.
It is also suitable for use on the body, making it even more economical and eco-effective.
Easy to take with you on a trip, no liquid and no leaking bottles.
A handcrafted blend of natural ingredients and a distinguished scent takes it to a new level of luxury at an affordable price.

I was really excited to try out this one because I love the scent of coconut. I didn't really get that much coconut scent from washing my face with it, but it was a very pleasant scent. It foams nicely, did not irritate my skin, and my face felt nice and soft afterward. Another great product from this Jouwbox.

I am really loving all those natural health products more and more each day.

If you are curious to know more about what was in it, all you have to do is read my 2 previous blog posts about this box.

Review about the Jouwbox - Christmas Edition Gift Box - Natural health products

Hi There..... Did you ever receive a gift box filled with natural products? Do you love natural health products? Did you ever receive the 'Jouwbox'?

I did, and I also received a lot of gifts in a box when I was a young girl. My dad really loved to tease me and my 2 sisters. He was pretty cunning in doing so too. I remember one time in specific. 😊

It was almost time for Christmas, and our dad had asked us to wrap a few gifts for New-year's eve already. He loved to tease his sisters and brothers too, and we were keen when he asked us to help him. 😋

We had so much fun wrapping up those gifts for our aunts and uncles. We didn't know what was in those packages because he had put a few papers around them at first. He said that would be best because we might spill the secret otherwise. We would wrap them up in many sheets of newspaper and he said he would add the gift wrapping paper to them later. 😃

A few days later, on Christmas evening, it was time to unwrap the gifts we got from our mom and dad. We knew he would trick us, but we never knew what to expect. As soon as we tore off that first sheet of gift wrapping paper, we realized what he had done. He had let us all wrap our own gifts, and now we had to unwrap them ourselves. Now he and our mom were the ones having all the fun. 😁

Ah, I know you are still waiting to see what's in my 'JouwBox' that I talked about at the beginning of this blog post. Have a look at all the goodies I received in exchange for my honest opinion.

This time Ralph Moorman & Juglen Zwaan teamed up to compose a very special Christmas edition. 😍

They filled the box with 11 natural health products worth 140 euro, but you can get it for just 49.95 euro. If you however decide to become a member (a box every 3 months) you get the box for just 39.95 euro. That's quite a bargain, isn't it, but if you want the Christmas edition, you really have to hurry because there aren't a lot of boxes left.  😍

So what did I find inside this time?

Tea By Me - Van Gogh Tea

Just like last time, I am going to split those up over several blog posts because I want all the products to get the necessary attention. Today's review will be about the last 2 products I just mentioned.

Tea By Me - Anne Bloemig

Let me tell you a bit more about the tea and what their website says about this Dutch Tea - Anne Bloemig from Tea By Me.

It is locally grown, directly produced: clean, sustainable, fresh, and fair.

Tea By Me produces black tea, green tea, white tea… Whatever your favorite flavor, they are all made from the leaves of one tea plant: Camellia Sinensis.

Tea plant grower Johan was the first in Europe to succeed in growing the Camellia Sinensis locally. Tea maker Anne makes delicious fresh quality tea with these tea leaves from Dutch soil. Green tea, full of positive properties that promote overall health. Back to basics with the power of mother nature.

Their tea leaves are fresher than fresh so that the tea retains all its good qualities. Grown and produced locally - from plant to tea glass: transparent to everyone.

I did wonder what kind of tea it would be because it is hard to tell looking at the box. After a closer look, I could find that it is green tea. I have tried a lot of green tea but am not a fan of drinking this tea plain because the taste is a bit too herbal for me. However, a pinch of lemon made it more than ok. However, if you are a fan of green tea and love the taste of herbs then this tea could be perfect for you without adding lemon.

Het Blauwe Huis - Ceylon Cinnamon

The other product I tried was the Ceylon cinnamon. What does their website say about this cinnamon from Het Blauwe Huis.

Cinnamon powder is the finely ground inner bark of the shoots of the cinnamon tree. This spice is delicious as a seasoning in sweet dishes such as apple sauce, biscuits, and pastries.

Het Blauwe Huis occupies a unique position with cultivating, drying, and processing the herbs themselves. The herbs are known for their good, intense, and powerful taste and aroma. They work according to the organic or biodynamic agricultural principles so that you can enjoy yourself responsibly! Quality mark: EU-BIO

I tried out the cinnamon in a very easy and fast recipe of oatmeal porridge. All you need is half an apple, a bag of oatmeal express (I use the one from Quaker), a handful of raisins, a teaspoon of brown sugar, milk, and cinnamon.

peel and core the apple and cut it into cubes. Throw in the content of the oatmeal bag and fill the bag with milk to the bar. Pour the milk on top of the apple and oatmeal and put some raisins on top and the sugar. Add just a few pinches of the cinnamon. Heat in the microwave for 2 minutes and let it cool down for about a minute. Nothing more to it.

It's a fast and easy breakfast and healthy too. Oats are whole grain and a good source of fiber. The fiber in the oatmeal can also help lower your cholesterol levels.

Hope you like my blog.....Until next time.....Have a nice day
