Interview with Fashion Influencer Christina P. Kantzavelos

Hi There.....  Are my woman's fashion fans here today? Can I tempt you with another Instagram Influencer interview?

I certainly hope so, because what good is blogging if nobody cares what you write about. You won't hear me complaining though, because my blog is still growing. 😍

How is your Instagram doing, because I hear many people complaining? Some Instagram influencers say they are losing followers instead of gaining them even though they haven't changed their tactics. Could be they have a lot of fake followers, and Instagram is working on removing those fake accounts at the moment. 😱

Oh my, that's a tremendous problem, isn't it? Nothing better than having some fake accounts, right? No problems with having to engage with them, because they don't return your likes or comments. 😎

Duh, no, of course not. I bet my next Instagram influencer agrees that engagement is very important. My star for today is the 32-year-old Christina P. Kantzavelos. She has 12.1K followers, which is almost twice as much as me. 😊

Do you have a day job? Full-time or Part-time?

I am a licensed psychotherapist and journal author @beginwithintoday, as well as gluten-free food, travel, and health-conscious lifestyle blogger @buenqamino

What made you decide to become an influencer?

Becoming an influencer happened organically. It wasn’t my initial intention. I just knew I wanted to share helpful resources with others, and my platform grew enough to warrant that. I am grateful to be helpful to others.

How many hours do you spend on Instagram on average?

1-2 a day, a few times a week. I like to take breaks, as needed.

Is fashion important to you? Why?

I live a creative lifestyle and enjoy finding a style that reflects this. Even if I am not feeling well, dressing up often puts me in a better mood. As I’ve gotten older, I learned about ethical and slow fashion and that became super important to me because we vote and make changes with our dollar.

What are your successes and how did you achieve them?

I have two master's degrees, including an undergraduate and a graduate degree from UCLA. I started my private practice, and blog, survived Lyme disease, and so much more. My purpose drives my success, and I want to acknowledge privilege as well.

Is the name of the Brand important to you when you buy clothing?

Not exactly, unless the brand is known for being sustainably minded. I am happy to wear brands that aren’t known instead of brands that are established but aren’t ethical in their practices.

Describe your personal style of clothing?

My style is forever evolving and changing. Some days I feel like wearing all vintage, and other days, I feel like dressing up, or getting comfy in athleisure. Most days, I wear something in-between. I also love upcycled outfits. The one thing that’s constant is that my clothes are almost always comfy enough to sleep in. I am sensitive to various fabrics, and work from home, so I keep comfort in mind, while being camera-ready

How did you find your personal style? Do you have a signature look?

I grew up being into indie and punk rock music, and that lent to an alternative style that has developed into what I wear now. Vintage, modern, funky, alternative, and cute. I like to say my style is what you’d imagine Kurt Cobain’s grandma to dress like.

Do you have an influence on other people’s clothing style?

Often I get asked where I purchase what I am wearing when I am out and about, or when I post to my stories or page. I’ve also been told I’ve inspired certain outfits and styles. It's an honor each time.

What are in your eyes the best trends at the moment?

Color blocking and monochrome outfits are fun! I love the mesh tops too.

What are in your eyes the worst trends at the moment?

Hoodies under blazers and tractor boots. But hey, I don’t have to wear them.

What kind of fashion advice would you give us?

Forget trends and focus on what brings you the most confidence and joy. And remember, that what you spend your money on matters. It benefits the folks making your clothing, the brand selling them, and your community.

Who is your style icon and why?

I really love Zoe Kravitz’s style.

Is there something else you would like to share with us?

You are already beautiful! Your outfit simply accentuates it.

Get Rid Of Dry Lips Problems Once And For All - 100% Natural Kneipp Lip Balm

Hi There..... Do you have problems with dry lips? Do you use lip balm? Are you a fan of vegan products?

That's a big yes to both questions for me. If I don't tend to my lips, they end up dry and cracked. I have to restrain myself not to bite off the flakes of dried skin. 😬

Not that I can always stop myself, and then I end up with bleeding lips because I bite off too much, which is much worse than dry lips. Don't you dare frown. I bet you did it once or twice, too. 😏

I remember a time when my son was about one year old. It was early in the morning and it was time to get him clothed, but I was playing with him and he was having fun. 😍

He was always full of energy (still is), and he was having so much fun bouncing up and down that he accidentally hit his head against my lip. 😵

It did not hurt him one bit, so he kept on laughing, but my lip was bleeding pretty badly. Hard to imagine sometimes that he is in his 30s already now. 😃

Time to tell you some more about this lip balm I received from Kneipp in return for my honest opinion. 😎

Let me share some information about this product first.

100% natural formulation

The new Kneipp lip balm Repair & Prevent contains valuable extracts of chamomile and melissa to combat stressed lips. These extracts are packed with active ingredients and therefore have soothing, cleansing, and repairing properties for the lips.

Depot effect

This lip balm has been developed with a special "depot effect". Meaning that after application, the lip balm ensures the hydration is released gradually. This ensures that the lip balm not only serves upon application but also for up to 24 hours after.

The paper blend cap looks like plastic but it isn't!

When you pick up the new cap of our lip care, you will not believe that it isn't plastic. They call this special material 'paper blend'. It has all the advantages of plastic, but not the disadvantages. The material is biodegradable and recyclable. A very interesting new find from our packaging specialists.

Durable cork

They made the bottom of the lip balm of cork which is leftover from the manufacture of cork products. Cork is a very durable and environmentally friendly product. It is completely biodegradable and recyclable without emitting toxic substances. By removing the bark, the cork oak can absorb 3 to 5 times more CO2 than cork oaks with bark.

Sustainable grass paper

The lip balm comes in a folding card that contains innovative and eco-friendly grass paper. Grass paper generates fewer CO2 emissions, requires approximately 3000 liters less water per ton of cardboard, and ensures short transport routes.

Major benefits of this new lip balm:

Softens, nourishes, and protects for a long time
100% natural and vegan
Without preservatives, mineral oils, paraffin, silicone oils, and dyes
Sustainable packaging and free from microplastics
Ideal for dry, chapped lips and sensitive lips

My opinion
I was so happy with this new lip balm. Recently I read a blog post of an online friend of mine who reviewed the same product, and believe it or not, I was slightly jealous. 😉

As you know, I am a fan of natural products, so always happy to try them out for you. The lip balm is smooth and buttery and after a few days, my lips are feeling so much better because they don't get bitten anymore. The taste is quite weird at first, but you get used to it after a few days. 😋

Maybe you didn't know but Kneipp has a whole range of these vegan lip care products
